Spacious, charming Holiday cottage set in an authentic & very Unusual former "garage automobile rural", completely renovated, nestled on a beautiful, well-kept property - with table soccer, pétanque court & ping-pong table - quietly located 5.5 km from the charming shopping town of Tournus on the banks of the Saône (A6 & all amenities on site / world-renowned abbey site & river Marina). In the heart of the South Burgundy Massif (a superb wilderness area partly protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for its rich ecosystems), in the heart of the rolling mountainous Tournus Countryside, a peaceful, unspoilt setting combining vineyards, deep forests & bocage meadows, nestled on a plateau between the verdant Grosne Valley & the Saône Valley, at the crossroads of the Mâconnais & Côtes Chalonnaises vineyards ("Burgundy Wine Route" & "Route des Grands Vins" to discover). Ultra-privileged location on the route of the Romanesque church circuit, several signposted hiking trails, including a "balade verte" (a vast network of similar hiking trails criss-crossing the region, to be explored on foot or mountain bike), a signposted Bike / Mountain bike itinerary linked to the renowned GTM mountain bike circuit (Grand Tour du Massif Sud Bourgogne, connected to a vast network of signposted mountain bike trails criss-crossing the Massif, with "VTT FFC" certification) & the "Cycloroute71" (Tour de la Saône-et-Loire by bike), 4 km from the GR76 (linked to the historic "Chemin des Moines" linking the abbeys of Citeaux & Cluny, as well as to the famous "ViaCluny" GR), 5.5 km from the Voie Bleue (running along the Saône), adjoining the Voie Verte of the "Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du Sud" & 17 km from a renowned downhill mountain bike track (Mont Saint-Romain). Right in the heart of the Tournugeois-Clunisois region (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"), at the crossroads of the Mâconnais, Chalonnais & Bresse Bourguignonne regions, rich in magnificent landscapes and a unique historical heritage (notably medieval and Romanesque). Ideal for easy access to the whole of southern Burgundy: 6 km from the medieval village of Brancion, 13 km from the rare Truchère Nature Reserve (remarkable protected ecosystem), 13 km from Cuisery, one of France's 8 exclusive "Villages du Livre", 14 km from Lugny (leading producer of Burgundy wines), 18 km from the charming medieval town of Saint-Gengoux-le-National (listed as a "Cités de Caractère de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté"), 26 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (listed as a "City of Art and History"), 28 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, 33 km from Louhans (capital of the Bresse region), 36 km from Mâcon (Mâcon Loché TGV station 44 km away), 37 km from the medieval village of Mont-Saint-Vincent (one of the most beautiful sites in Burgundy, with a literally unique 360° panoramic "belvedere"), 38 km from the sumptuous Roche de Solutré & Vergisson landscape jewel, a "Grand Site de France" & 47 km from the TGV station at Le Creusot. An atypical & refreshing resort, with a wealth of leisure facilities, for an ultra-relaxing "green getaway" for all the family!

Remi Bien complet
