Exceptional setting & site! Authentic, charming, traditional 19th-century residence - carefully restored & full of charm - set on an elegant 4-hectare "bourgeois" property steeped in history, set in an "amphitheater" on a south-facing hillside, 6.5 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny (all amenities on site), facing the sumptuous landscape jewel of the Roches de Solutré & Vergisson, designated a "Grand Site de France" (access 13.5 km away), and the majestic medieval fortress of Berzé (a priceless Burgundy heritage treasure dating from the 10th century). A 100% peaceful & relaxing environment, nestled in the heart of the Cluny countryside, on the edge of meadows, vineyards & forests, in the wooded foothills of the South Burgundy Massif, in the heart of a bucolic setting of nature and greenery protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for the quality of its ecosystem. Absolute peace and quiet in a peaceful family hamlet overlooking the picturesque "Val Lamartinien" village, famous for its famous vineyards (named after the famous native French poet and writer), ideally situated on the wine route, the Romanesque church circuit, the GR76 & "balades vertes" marked footpaths (a rich network to discover in the surrounding area between vineyards & nature) & a referenced mountain bike itinerary directly connected to the renowned GMT (Grand Tour du Massif Sud Bourgogne), 1 km from the voie verte (& the remarkable "Tunnel du Bois Clair", a former railway tunnel, the longest in France open to a Voie Verte at 1.6 km). An ultra-privileged location in the heart of the Mâconnais & Clunisois-Tournugeois (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"), at the very southern tip of the Monts du Mâconnais & bordering the Haut Beaujolais (numerous vineyards & wine routes to explore), at the crossroads of Bresse & the Rhône & Ain departments. A choice address for easy access: 18 km from Mâcon (A6 & A40 access / Mâcon Loché TGV station 16 km away), 29 km from the Touroparc Zoo animal park, 37 km from Tournus, 39 km from Charolles, 43 km from La Clayette, 51 km from Villefranche-sur-Saône (classified as a "Ville d'Art & d'Histoire"), 54 km from Paray-le-Monial & 56 km from Bourg-en-Bresse. A literal bubble of rejuvenation, exuding the art of living and the carefree spirit of vacations, sublimated by breathtaking landscapes and panoramas!
