Jocelyne, a retired winegrower, welcomes you to an authentic 19th-century winegrower's residence, a fully restored former family home nestled on the roadside of a south-facing hillside, in the very heart of the bucolic vineyards of the famous Saint-Véran cru, in the heart of the unspoilt Mâconnais Countryside (protected as a ZNIEFF for its wealth of flora & fauna). A residential hamlet nestled on the very heights of the picturesque village of Leynes, a delightful wine-growing village typical of the Côtes Mâconnaises, full of charm and perfectly preserved, with a rich heritage (12th-century Romanesque church, several castles, carefully restored historic homes, washhouses, etc.). Nestled amphitheatrically in a sumptuous cirque of vineyards beneath the wooded ridges of the Bois de Fée (a small forest protected as a "Natura 2000" zone for its very rich ecosystem), in the hollow of the gentle Arlois valley (the only one in Burgundy whose geological particularity produces both the white, rosés and reds from both southern Burgundy and northern Beaujolais), facing an immense wild forest massif, dominating the Saône plain with the Bugey & Lyonnais mountains as a backdrop, the village enjoys a sublime landscape & literal "postcard" winegrowing setting, adorned with splendid panoramic belvederes (on a clear day, you can see the Alps & Vercors, all the way to Mont-Blanc!). Spacious, comfortable Holiday cottage. Soothingly rustic, combining vintage charm with the exotic ambience of an old country home. Enclosed gravel courtyard with exposed terrace. Pleasant balcony with unobstructed views of the surrounding vineyards & village. Composition : Holiday cottage adjoining barns & garages next to the owner's home (total independence). Wifi (fiber). Gas heating. Holiday cottage on 1st floor (access via outside staircase): living room-kitchen, 2 bedrooms (2 beds 140x190cm / 2 beds 1 p. 90x190cm), bathroom (bath), separate toilet. Courtyard with terrace + balcony + bike room + private parking. All amenities including supermarket 8 km away.
