Sumptuous landscaped surroundings, nestled in the rolling, mountainous countryside of the bucolic Cozanne valley, with its sublime vineyard slopes stretching as far as the eye can see, between meadows and wooded hills. Ultra-privileged location adjacent to the Romanesque church circuit & the illustrious "Route des Grands Crus" (passing through the mythical wine villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Pommard, Meursault...), on the "voie verte" (connected to EuroVélo6), the "Route des vins", the superb GRP "Au Fil des Vignobles et Vallées" (connected to GR7, GR76 & GR137), several marked "balades verte" hiking trails (winding between vineyards & nature), 5 km from the "Voie des Vignes" cycle route (36 km through the vineyards of Burgundy's world-famous Grands Crus) & a 24 km "coup de cœur" cycling loop, and 10 km from two river marinas linked to the Canal du Centre ("Le Fleuve tranquille", a navigable itinerary to discover on a boat trip or on foot). Prime location at the crossroads of the world-renowned vineyards of Côtes de Beaune, Hautes Côtes de Beaune & Côtes Chalonnaises, at the crossroads of the Côte d'Or & the magnificent territories of Chalonnais, Pays Beaunois, Autunois and Morvan (& its Natural Park). 10 km from Chagny (& its river marina), 24 km from Beaune, 28 km from Le Creusot (renowned Combes amusement park / Creusot TGV station 27 km away), 30 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (labeled "Ville d'Art et d'Histoire"), 32 km from Autun ("Ville d'Art et d'Histoire", rich in a priceless heritage spanning over 2000 years of human presence) and 56 km from Tournus and the famous Gallo-Roman archaeological site of Bibracte labelled "Grand Site de France". The perfect spot for wine & nature lovers! Absolutely magical landscapes!

Bernadette & Christian (retired winegrower, passionate oenophile, still running a mini vineyard for pleasure, where you can visit the small private "educational museum" dedicated to wine & vines), welcome you to a delightful 18th-century village house carefully restored & steeped in history (former outbuilding of the elegant neighboring manor house they occupy), nestling quietly on the edge of a small lane & meadow, in the heart of a peaceful, picturesque wine-producing village in the Hautes Côtes de Beaune, founded in the 13th century by the Templars of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem. Nestled in the gentle green valley of the Cozanne, at the foot of three "belvedere" mountains, all over 500m high - including the "Mountain of the Three Crosses", a preserved area classified as a "natural park" offering an exceptional 360° panorama - and bordering the magnificent vineyards of the Maranges & Couchois, this postcard village boasts a literally sublime rolling landscape, a succession of sumptuous vineyard slopes, meadows & wooded hills. A beautiful, soothing & restful country & natural setting. Comfortable Holiday cottage. Warm country charm with contemporary accents, enhanced by meticulous restoration (old stone walls & lintels, fireplace mantel, original beams & ceilings...). Lots of charm and character. Pleasant, shady, private garden (just a stone's throw away). Beautiful unobstructed view of the surrounding Countryside from the sheltered mini-balcony.
Composition: Detached house adjoining the owners' home (total independence with no vis-à-vis). Wifi access. Electric heating. Washing machine in cellar. Raised ground floor (6 steps): living room-kitchen, bedroom-living room (sofa-bed 2 p. 140x190cm), shower room (shower/Wc). Sheltered balcony + private garden (10m away / access via alley). Free public parking lot on site. All amenities 5 km away.

Bref, c'était vraiment trop trop parfait. On reviendra.
