Peace & quiet in the heart of a small, typical farming & rural hamlet perched on a hillside, in the hollow of a splendidly preserved cirque of gentle mountains, offering the rare privilege of being able to observe wildlife (foxes, roe deer, wild boar, birds...). Magnificent landscaped setting of nature & greenery, nestling on the edge of fields & meadows, on the edge of a vast forest massif, overlooking the bucolic Ternin valley & the village of Chissey-en-Morvan, the most northerly in Saône-et-Loire, located on the ancient Roman road linking Sens to Autun (vestiges to visit), Chissey-en-Morvan boasts a remarkable heritage (numerous châteaux, manors, fortified houses & mills) as well as superb scenery, and is also involved in the pioneering "starry sky" project run by the Morvan Natural Park (with the prestigious "International Dark Sky Reserve" label in its sights).
