Total tranquility nestled in a literal postcard landscape, in the rolling Countryside of the Côtes Chalonnaises, on a plateau of vineyards (from the famous "Val d'Or"), on the slopes of a wooded hill protected as a "Zone Natura 2000" & ZNIEFF (for its wealth of flora & fauna), At its summit are the ruins of the medieval château de Montaigu, built in the 10th century and steeped in history (having played a notable role in the Wars of Religion), overlooking the sublime Vallée des Vaux and the Val de Saône, in the extension of the "Montabon" hill covered by a vast Forest. Warm country charm enhanced by the soul of the original building (stone walls, wooden lintel, beams...).
