Picturesque little farming & rural hamlet nestled in the heart of the Morvan Massif! Authentic traditional farmhouse dating from 1881, set in the heart of the Morvan countryside - on a small family-run sheep farm (no nuisance) - in a bucolic setting of unspoilt nature & greenery, 7 km from the charming little market town of Lucenay l'Evêque. Soothing, gentle mountain scenery, combining meadows & deep, wild forests, nestled in the very heart of the Morvan Nature Park, on the Romanesque church circuit & "balades vertes" footpaths (a very rich network of similar paths, winding through the countryside, to be explored throughout the massif), 9 km from the renowned GRP "Grand Tour du Massif du Morvan" (connected to several GR), 9 km from the mythical GTMC (Grand Traversée du Massif Central) mountain bike route, 14 km from the "voie verte" (in its "all-terrain" version linked to a signposted cycle route) and some 50 km from the first Couchois vineyards crossed by the "Route des Grands Vins" (Côtes Chalonnaises adjoining Côtes de Beaune). Splendid wild & preserved environment nestled on the border between Côte d'Or and Nièvre (& the "Grands Lacs du Morvan" territory), in the heart of Autunois-Morvan, a sumptuous natural territory steeped in history, legends & mysteries, rich in a rare historical heritage as well as absolutely grandiose landscapes. Prime location in the heart of Burgundy, 21 km from Saulieu, 23 km from Autun (a "Ville d'Art et d'Histoire" with a priceless heritage spanning over 2000 years of human presence), 24 km from the renowned Lac des Settons (supervised beach with fine sand, water-based leisure activities), 33 km from Château Chinon, 39 km from the famous Gallo-Roman archaeological site of Bibracte, awarded the prestigious "Grand Site de France" label, 45 km from the medieval town of Nolay & 59 km from the TGV station at Le Creusot. Possibility of renting the property's two gîtes (with gîte n°1837) for a total capacity of 8 people. An ideal "low-cost" refuge for a relaxing "100% nature" breath of fresh air, for lovers or family!

Eric & Françoise, farmers and sheep breeders, welcome you to an authentic, fully-renovated traditional Morvan farmhouse dating from 1881, nestled in the quiet Countryside of the Haut Morvan, on their small family farm (with no nuisances whatsoever). Peace & tranquility in the heart of a small, typical farming & rural hamlet nestled on a hillside, in a splendid, unspoilt cirque of gentle Mountain, offering the rare privilege of observing wildlife (foxes, roe deer, wild boar, birds...). Magnificent landscaped setting of nature & greenery, nestling on the edge of fields & meadows, on the edge of a vast forest massif, overlooking the bucolic Ternin valley & the village of Chissey-en-Morvan, the most northerly in Saône-et-Loire, located on the ancient Roman road linking Sens to Autun (remains to be visited), with a remarkable heritage (numerous castles, manor houses, fortified houses & mills) and superb landscapes, a commune which has also been designated an "International Dark Sky Reserve" (for the Morvan Natural Park). Comfortable Holiday cottage. Warm, country-style, vintage charm, combined with the gentle, relaxing ambience of an old house (French ceilings, cement tiles, fireplace mantle, original stone walls...). Large enclosed gravel courtyard with large terrace area (exposed or shaded as required). Appreciable bonus: fresh seasonal vegetables supplied by the owners "direct" from the family kitchen garden.
Composition: Detached house adjoining the owners' home and the property's other Holiday cottage (total independence). Wifi (fiber). Electric heating. Ground-floor Holiday cottage: kitchen, living room (2-bed 140x190cm), 1 bedroom (2-bed 140x190cm), shower room, separate toilet. Enclosed patio + private parking. Small grocery store 3 km. Shops 7 km.
