Christian, an amateur fisherman, opens the doors of this former fisherman's bungalow, completely renovated and located on the banks of the Arroux, 1 km from the village of Etang-sur-Arroux. It's an ideal place for anglers to get to know the various species of fish living on the Arroux: pike, trout, pike-perch, perch, carp, etc. (fishing licence required). Christian will be happy to chat with you and give you a few tips! For sporty types, take a canoe trip down the Arroux through unspoilt countryside and visit the Aquarécréatif center. As you stroll along the banks of the Arroux, don't miss the 17th-century Maison du Passeur, which enabled local residents to cross from one bank to the other by boat. Admire the 5-arched bridge, featured on the town's coat of arms, and explore the Grotte de Garenne, a replica of the Lourdes grotto. Spacious, comfortable and functional. Sit out on the raised terrace and enjoy a glass of wine offered by the owner on arrival. Or take advantage of the garden or the banks of the Arroux to relax in the shade of the trees!
