Stay on a property steeped in history! Authentic character mill dating back to 1665, fully restored & revisited as a guest house, nestled in the calm of unspoilt Countryside (dotted with various areas protected as "Zones Natura 2000" for their rich ecosystems) in the heart of the Haut-Mâconnais vineyards, on a vast 4-hectare estate, much of it "natural", adjoining the heart of the charming wine-producing village of Viré (famous AOC Viré-Clessé Chardonnay), 8 km from the picturesque wine-producing village of Lugny ("the little capital of the Haut-Mâconnais", with its many shops, famous "Accrobranche" site & leading Burgundy wine-producing winery) & 8 km from the shopping village of Pont de Vaux (supermarket & river Marina linked to the Saône). Magnificent landscaped setting, nestled in the southern foothills of the South Burgundy massif at the foot of the Mountain de Burgy (splendid wild forest to explore on foot or mountain bike & exceptional panoramic belvedere), in a sublime undulating country setting combining agriculture & viticulture, a stone's throw from the banks of the Saône. Ultra-privileged location on the famous GTM mountain-bike circuit (Grand Tour du Massif Sud Bourgogne, linked to a vast network of signposted mountain-bike trails criss-crossing the massif, with "VTT FFC" certification), a 28 km "coup de cœur" mountain-bike loop & a signposted "balade verte" hiking trail (many similar hiking trails connected to the GR76, to be discovered in the area), adjacent to the Romanesque church circuit & the "Route des Vins de Bourgogne", 2.5 km from the Voie Bleue (Blue Way) along the banks of the Saône, linked to the Voie Verte (Green Way) of the "Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du Sud" (Great Loop of Southern Burgundy) and the "Cycloroute71" (Tour of Saône-et-Loire by bike), and 9 km from a 42-km "Boucle Vélo coup de cœur" (Favorite Bike Loop). Location in the heart of the Mâconnais & its famous vineyards, at the crossroads of the Ain, Tournugeois-Clunisois (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"), Chalonnais & Bresse Bourguignonne, not far from the Côtes Chalonnaises and Beaujolais vineyards. Ideal for easy access: 8 km from the Golf de la Salle, 11 km from the renowned Grottes d'Azé, 16 km from Tournus, 17 km from Mâcon (Mâcon Loché train station 24 km away), 17 km from the medieval town of Brancion, 20 km from the rare Réserve Naturelle de la Truchère (remarkable protected ecosystem), 22 km from Cuisery, one of the very exclusive 8 French "Villages du Livre", 21 km from the medieval village of Romenay, 23 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, 27 km from the sumptuous landscape jewel of the Roche de Solutré labelled "Grand Site de France", 33 km from the renowned TouroParc Zoo zoological theme park, 42 km from Louhans & 44 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (labelled "City of Art and History"). A literal haven of peace & quiet just a stone's throw from amenities, for a relaxing breath of fresh air! A soothing little corner of the Countryside...

Quel accueil !
