Fanny & Damien, winegrowers and Herford cattle breeders, welcome you to a charming, carefully restored, traditional 18th-century Burgundy farmhouse on their small, family-run organic farm (with chickens and ducks), set in a site steeped in history (an old watermill used for hemp production). Soothing, unspoilt country setting, nestled on the edge of the Forest & meadows just a stone's throw from the vineyards, on the edge of a peaceful rural hamlet, at the foot of Mont Péjus (a gentle hill protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for its remarkable ecosystems), not far from the pedestrian heart of the picturesque medieval & shopping town of Saint-Gengoux-le-National. Magnificent hilly surroundings, combining nature, agriculture & viticulture, partly protected by ZNIEFF for its wealth of flora & fauna. Spacious, comfortable Holiday cottage. Warm country charm combining tradition & modernity, sublimated by the gentle soul of a typical old rural dwelling (original beams, stone walls, staircase & its wrought-iron railing, parquet floors...). Large raised terrace overlooking a pleasant 400m² garden, planted with trees and flowers, crossed by a bucolic little stream ("déversoir" linked to the Unusual old mill lock, nestled just a stone's throw away). Beautiful unobstructed view of the surrounding Countryside, with the village in the background.
Composition: Semi-detached house with farm outbuilding adjoining owner's house (total independence). Wifi (fiber). Electric heating. Raised ground floor: living-room-kitchen. 1st floor: office space (landing mezzanine), 3 bedrooms (3 single beds 90x190cm, 2 of which are bunk beds / double bed). 160x200cm / bed 2 p. 160x200cm), one with private shower room (shower/Wc), bathroom (bath + shower + Wc).
