The surrounding countryside is very peaceful, nestling in the gentle, unspoilt countryside of the Tournuge region (protected under the Natura 2000 & ZNIEFF zones for its wealth of flora and fauna), a stone's throw from the vineyards, in the hollow of a bucolic plateau of fields and hedged meadows, on the edge of a vast national forest where a peaceful fishing pond (l'Étang des Vernes) is hidden.
