Charming traditional 19th-century farmhouse, fully restored & converted into a comfortable holiday home - on a vast 3-hectare natural estate - nestled in the countryside between Bresse Louhannaise and Revermont, 5 km from the A39 (exit no. 9), 4 km from the center of Cuiseaux (charming "cité des peintres" & medieval shopping town with a wealth of amenities including a rich level of leisure facilities) & 17 km from Louhans, capital of the Bresse region, famous for its iconic medieval artery with 157 arcades (one of the most remarkable of its kind in France and Europe) as well as for its famous "Monday market" labeled "Site remarquable du goût". A peaceful residential hamlet nestled on the edge of meadows and forest, close to the first wooded foothills of the Jura Massif, a superb natural setting of gentle mountains (dotted with numerous mountain bike and hiking trails marked out as "balades vertes", connected to the mythical GRP "Grande Traversée du Jura" & the GR59), 6 km from the first Jura vineyards (& the wine route) and 17 km from the "voie verte" & a 35 km cycling itinerary listed as a "boucle vélo coup de cœur". Pleasant, restful setting nestled in the heart of a superb landscape alternating bocage plains dotted with ponds & rivers and vast forest massifs, at the very southern tip of Bresse Bourguignonne (cradle of the world-renowned Bresse poultry AOC, with a remarkable historical heritage). A prime location at the crossroads of the Jura Massif & the Bresse de l'Ain (and their respective départements), not far from the Mâconnais & Tournugeois-Clunisois (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire") and the world-renowned South Burgundy vineyards (various wine routes to explore). Ideal for touring (A39 5 km away): 5 km from the renowned Bresse racetrack (48 ha of multi-activity car, motorcycle and go-karting facilities), 28 km from Lons-le-Saunier, 35 km from Cuisery (one of France's 8 exclusive "Villages du Livre"), 41 km from Bourg-en-Bresse & 45 km from Tournus (world-renowned abbey site). Ideal for a relaxing country break with the family!

Delightful, lovingly restored traditional 19th-century farmhouse with character, nestled in the countryside on the edge of meadows, in a vast open clearing on the edge of a large forest. In a peaceful residential hamlet 4 km from the center of Cuiseaux, the "city of painters", birthplace of world-famous artists Édouard Vuillard & Pierre Puvis de Chavannes, nestled in the wooded foothills of the Jura mountains, in a sublime, unspoilt, gentle mountain setting. This picturesque medieval trading village steeped in history (a former border town) boasts a rich heritage (porte du verger, ramparts, château des princes d'Orange, church, chapel, 16th-century townhouses and mansions, old winegrowers' houses, etc.). Very comfortable gîte with atypical interior architecture. Very spacious. Vast living room. Warm, contemporary country style blends tradition & modernity in the spirit of a gentle "family home" with rich traces of the past (original stone walls, bricks, fireplace mantel, beams, stone lintels...).
