Madeleine & Bernard open the doors to a very rare authentic 15th-century Romanesque chapel steeped in history (an exceptional "desacralized" heritage building, family property for 5 generations), very carefully restored (having preserved its lava stone roof among other original architectural treasures), nestled in a quiet little lane, a stone's throw from the very first vineyards, in the heart of a picturesque, peaceful and perfectly preserved little winegrowing hamlet, not far from the center of the village of Saint-Boil (listed 10th-century Romanesque church, unusual former Gallo-Roman sculpture quarry dating from the 3rd century, majestic late-19th-century 16-arch Ferroviaire viaduct...to discover). Total tranquility in the heart of the Côtes Chalonnaises & its gentle rolling countryside combining magnificent vineyard slopes, bucolic bocage meadows and vast wild forests, between nature, viticulture & agriculture.
