Stay "in the heartland" of the legendary "Chardonnay" grape variety! This property is certified "Vineyards & Découvertes" and "Accueil Vélo"! An authentic 17th-century Burgundian home full of character and steeped in history, carefully restored to the highest standards with style and taste, nestled peacefully in the heart of a picturesque little rural residential hamlet, 7 km from the charming wine-growing village of Lugny ("the little capital of the Haut-Mâconnais," featuring numerous shops, a renowned "tree-top adventure park," and the leading producer of Burgundy wines), 7 km from the market town of Pont de Vaux (supermarket and river Marina on the Saône) and 13 km from Tournus (world-renowned abbey site / A6 highway and all amenities nearby). In the heart of the Mâconnais countryside (within a ZNIEFF-protected area recognized for its rich ecosystems), a magnificent rolling Vineyard landscape (the nearest Vineyards are just 3 km away) blending agriculture and unspoiled nature, nestled at the foot of the wooded foothills of the nearby Southern Burgundy Massif (a vast wilderness area largely protected as a “Natura 2000” site, perfect for exploring on foot or by mountain bike) in the heart of the Saône Valley (with the riverbanks just a short distance away). A prime location along the Romanesque Church Trail, very close to the “Burgundy Wine Route” (which extends into the “Route des Grands Vins”) as well as numerous hiking trails marked as “green walks” (a vast network winding through Vineyards and the great outdoors, waiting to be explored in the area), 3 km from the “Voie Bleue” trail running along the banks of the Saône, adjacent to the “Voie Verte” of the “Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du Sud,” 3 km from the renowned GTM mountain biking circuit certified “VTT FFC” (Grand Tour of the Southern Burgundy Massif, connected to a vast network of similar mountain biking trails crisscrossing the massif), 8 km from the “Cycloroute71” route (Tour de la Saône-et-Loire by Bike), 12 km from the GR76, which connects to the famous GR “Chemin de Cluny” (ViaCluny) as well as the legendary “Chemin des Moines” (which once connected the abbeys of Cîteaux and Cluny) & 14 km from the renowned Mont Saint-Romain downhill mountain bike trail. A prime location in the heart of the Mâconnais region and its famous Vineyards, at the crossroads of the Ain, the Tournugeois-Clunisois (designated a “Pays d’Art et d’Histoire”), the Chalonnais, and the Bresse Bourguignonne, not far from the Vineyards of the Côtes Chalonnaises and the Beaujolais, as well as the world-renowned Côtes de Beaune and Hautes Côtes de Beaune. Ideal for exploring the surrounding area: 11 km from the La Salle golf course, 16 km from the medieval town of Brancion, 18 km from Cuisery—one of France’s eight highly exclusive “Villages du Livre,” 19 km from the rare Truchère Nature Reserve (a remarkable protected ecosystem), 20 km from Mâcon (Mâcon Loché train station is 27 km away), 21 km from the medieval village of Romenay, 27 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, 29 km from the magnificent natural gem of the Roches de Solutré and Vergisson, designated a “Grand Site de France,” 31 km from the medieval town of Saint-Gengoux-le-National, designated a “Cité de Caractère de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté,” 36 km from Vonnas (Georges Blanc’s gastronomic and gourmet village), 39 km from Louhans, 40 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (designated a “City of Art and History”) and 52 km from Bourg-en-Bresse. An ultra-comfortable “haven” of charm and serenity, imbued with the host’s “love of Cinema”!

Cinema enthusiast & wine connoisseur (wine tasting available in the adjoining cellar), Bruno welcomes you to an authentic 17th-century Burgundy character property steeped in history (former farm & winegrowers' house), carefully restored with style and taste, nestled in the heart of a picturesque rural hamlet just a stone's throw from the vineyards (Viré Clessé appellation) & 8 km from Chardonnay, historic birthplace of the world-renowned eponymous grape variety. Superb landscaped setting (ZNIEFF protected area for its wealth of flora & fauna), nestled at the foot of Burgy Mountain (an unspoilt massif offering exceptional panoramic views as far as Mont-Blanc on a clear day!) in the heart of the Monts du Mâconnais & its bucolic, rolling Vineyard Countryside alternating vineyard slopes, meadows & wild forests. High-comfort Holiday cottage. Ultra spacious. Vast living room with cathedral ceiling. Very elegant Countryside style with contemporary accents, mixing tradition & modernity in the spirit of a "loft in the country", sublimated by the soul of the building (conservation of Burgundy stone walls, stone & wood lintels, roof timbers, terracotta floor tiles, old bread oven, stone sink & plate warmer, French ceiling...) & the meticulous "décor" imbued with the owner's "cinephilia". Enormous charm & character. Cozy, cocooning atmosphere. Large exposed gravel terrace (with flowers & plants) backing onto a pleasant mini-garden.
Composition: Holiday cottage in semi-detached house with owner's accommodation + year-round rental accommodation (total independence with no vis-à-vis). Wifi (fiber). Heat pump + Wood heating.
