With a wealth of sports and leisure facilities, including the nearby Vallon Lake (100 ha of "nature sports" with a water sports base) & a bucolic golf course, backing onto the vast wild Planoise Forest (a veritable "green lung" in the southern foothills of the Morvan Massif, to explore on relaxing walks or mountain bike rides), in the heart of an unspoilt natural setting of great beauty, this two-thousand-year-old city has been awarded the "City of Art & History" label, and boasts a literally exceptional heritage (Gallo-Roman, medieval & classical).     Gite très bien équipé et confortable. Bien placé près du centre dans une rue tranquille. Il n'y a pas de terrain mais la petite cour permet de prendre les repas dehors.

    Séjour culture et nature

    Le gîte est idéalement situé au centre ville dans une rue calme. Il est soigné, les installations et l'électroménager sont de dernière génération. A l'arrivée tout est prêt, les lits sont faits, les serviettes de toilette sont à disposition.
    Autun est une ville à découvrir tant pour les vestiges romains que pour la cathédrale et les bâtiments anciens. Elle permet de rayonner pour voir les sites aux alentours : Uchon, Bibracte et le mont Beuvray, la croix de la libération.
    Nous avons fait de belles balades, la nature est superbe en ce mois de mai, des champs de boutons d'or et des genêts mêlés au vert des arbres, une inspiration pour les peintres.

    Gite très bien situé pour rayonner dans la région, confortable, propre,très bien aménagé et très bien équipé, au calme et à proximité des commerces (à pied),le garage fermé est un plus.
    propriétaire accueillant et très sympa, je recommande ce gite.
