Florence & Pierre open the doors to an authentic, picturesque winegrower's house dating from 1654 (one of the oldest in the area), steeped in history & fully restored, nestled on the very edge of the vineyards, on a small "family" winegrowing estate in the Côtes Châlonnaises (run as an "organic" "Montagny" cru), next to the very elegant 19th-century bourgeois "de maître" residence they occupy. Peace & tranquility in the countryside, nestled "en balcon" on a hillside, on a well-exposed "eastern" slope, in a delightful little rural hamlet nestled in a cul-de-sac. Magnificent, unspoilt landscaped setting in a bucolic valley of vineyards nestling under a wood, a stone's throw from gentle meadows. Sumptuous panoramic views of the Val de Saône and Mont-Blanc in the background on a clear day. A beautiful, 100% relaxing site, overlooking the charming medieval market town of Buxy, nestled within its ancient heart-shaped ramparts (12th-century listed Romanesque church, fortifications, Châteaux, towers...) and offering numerous amenities and leisure facilities.     Wir haben einen sehr erholsamen Aufenthalt in Davenay genossen. Die Eigentümerin hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und war sehr hilfsbereit. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist zweckmässig und funktional. Buxy ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der ganzen Region.
