Nestled on the banks of the famous Canal du Centre in the hollow of the Dheune valley ("the ceramics valley" steeped in history), with numerous small shops (including a supermarket), a river Marina & a notable heritage (11th-century Romanesque church, old tile works...), the village enjoys a superb unspoilt setting combining vineyard slopes, bucolic meadows & beautiful wild forests, adjacent to the sublime vineyards of Couchois & Maranges, close to Mont Rome (546m), a famous climbing site & superb belvedere. Spacious, comfortable Holiday cottage (former winery). Spacious living room. Warm "Countryside chic" atmosphere enhanced by the soul of the building (original beams & ceilings, stone walls & lintels, molded wooden doors...). Enormous charm & character. Ultra-cosy & cozy. Le Club des 5 A la hauteur de nos attentes
Très agréable accueil des propriétaires dans un endroit chaleureux . Lorsque les lits superposés seront remplacés par quelque chose de plus pratique pour des adultes, tout sera parfait . Nous vous apprécié tous les équipements mis à disposition et le fait que le ménage est compris dans le prix de location . Un grand merci.

Cat Gîte nature chaleureux
Très beau gîte au calme, confortable et meublé avec goût. Terrasse avec petit déjeuner au soleil et magnifique jardin, un vrai bonheur ! Elisabeth et Dominique sont des hôtes extraordinaires, attentionnés, aimant l’échange et la rencontre. Amoureux de leur terroir, ils nous ont prodigué des conseils avisés pour découvrir la région (ballades en vélo ou à pied, visites culturelles, vignicoles, etc…). Merci encore. Nous reviendrons…

Nos hôtes nous ont accueilli en toute simplicité, sont très réactifs , sympathiques..
Nous ont donné des idées de randonnées ..
Nous avons pu utiliser le bois nécessaire au chauffage- période relativement froide- vu que nous n'avons pas utilisé la pompe à chaleur par choix...
