Nestled in a bucolic green valley in a charming, unspoilt setting of vineyards, meadows & vast wild forests (dotted with footpaths, splendid panoramic lookouts and signposted mountain bike trails for all levels), the village enjoys a magnificent, unspoilt rural setting, mountainous & undulating, as well as a remarkable historical heritage (elegant listed 12th-century Romanesque church, 12th-century manor house, former tithe of the Benedictine monks of Saint-Philibert de Tournus abbey, neolithic "pierre de légende" dolmen listed as a Monument Historique...).).
