Marie-Edith & Jean are retired winegrowers (Château des Correaux is just around the corner, a family estate since 1803 run by their son using "viticulture raisonnée" / tastings & tours available on reservation), and welcome you to a charming, lovingly restored, authentic 19th-century winegrowers' house, nestled on the edge of an alleyway in a small winegrowing hamlet in the heart of the bucolic vineyards of the famous cru Saint-Véran (among other local products), in the gentle Arlois valley (the only one in Burgundy whose geological peculiarity produces the white, rosé and red wines of both southern Burgundy and northern Beaujolais). Just a stone's throw from the picturesque village of Leynes, a charming, typical and perfectly preserved Côtes Mâconnaises village (12th-century Romanesque church, several châteaux, carefully restored historic houses, washhouses, etc.), perched amphitheatrically under the wooded crests of a small forest protected as a "Natura 2000" zone, at the foot of a vast, wild forest massif.
