Anne & Jean-Claude open the doors to a rare authentic 17th-century Burgundy character property (former farmhouse & winegrower's house), steeped in history & fully restored, nestled in a quiet "backyard", on the edge of a lane just a stone's throw from the vines, in the heart of a historic & peaceful little winegrowing hamlet. Nestled on a hillside on a south-east-facing slope, in the heart of the bucolic vineyards of the famous AOC de Givry (flagship of the Côtes chalonnaise, King Henri IV's favorite wine according to legend), close to vast state-owned forests, in a magnificent setting of gentle rolling Countryside combining viticulture & nature, This picturesque, perfectly preserved site overlooks the village of Givry, an ancient fortified village steeped in charm, with the remains of its ramparts, a rich listed heritage, numerous amenities and a wealth of leisure facilities, including the "Acrogivry" park (Burgundy's largest accrobranche park, one of France's largest adventure parks!). Spacious, comfortable Holiday cottage. Spacious living room. Warm country charm, a touch "rustic", with contemporary touches sublimated by the exceptional soul of the place (arch, majestic mantelpiece & stone walls, beams & frame... original).     Parfait séjour

    Super séjour, nous avons été accueillis par des petites surprises gustatives, c’était vraiment gentil. La propriétaire nous a proposé pas mal de services, c’est l’endroit parfait pour découvrir la région entre amis.

    Très bien

    Le gîte était conforme à la description, très propre, très calme, spacieux bien équipé même si nous n'avons pas cuisiné ( séjour pendant le festival Châlon dans la rue). Notre long weekend s'est vraiment bien passé. Attention toutefois pour les chambres à l'étage, il faut pouvoir enjamber les poutres, c'est plutôt rigolo mais bon a savoir ! Ce gîte est plein de charme, c'est un bâtiment très ancien, super la clim pour les chambres sous les toits !.

    Gite très bien équipé et confortable dans une très ancienne maison bourguignonne bien agréable cependant.
    A noter une cuisine un peu petite et les 2 chambres de l'étage peut etre difficiles d'accès pour des enfants en tres bas age ( escaliers , poutres à enjamber )
    Propriétaire très accueillante et réactive .

    Par ailleurs situation géographique intéressante pour visiter ce coin de Bourgogne

    En effet la cuisine est petite, mais elle comporte de nombreux équipements, y compris entre autre,un micro onde, une lave vaisselle , une cuisinière avec un four conséquent et 4 plaques de cuisson.
    Entre autre, le descriptif du gite indique les poutres à enjamber que les enfants en général adorent. Si il y a des enfants en bas âge , une barrière est en place pour l'escalier vers le bas, et une porte vers les chambre du haut.
