Unusual haven of peace "in the heart of town", steeped in history & full of sweet surprises, "Accueil Vélo" label! Authentic outbuilding dating from 1830, fully renovated and nestled in a quiet, enclosed, well-kept 1500m² property - with a beautiful 3.5x7m Piscine - nestled in the heart of the charming shopping town of Marcigny, a "Site Clunisois" renowned for its Monday morning Market created in 1266 (many amenities on site, including supermarkets) & 4 km from the medieval village of Semur-en-Brionnais, awarded the rare "Plus beaux villages de France" label. Just a stone's throw from the gentle Countryside around Brionnais, a magnificently preserved setting combining sumptuous bocages dotted with ponds & beautiful wild forests, as well as the nearby banks of the Loire (Europe's last wild river, protected as a "Zone Natura 2000" & ZNIEFF for its rich flora & fauna ecosystems), bordered by the "Canal tranquille" linking Roanne to Digoin. Ideally located on the route of the Romanesque church circuit, several signposted VTT-FFC mountain bike trails (linked in a "star" formation to a vast network criss-crossing the Brionnais region), and a "Balade Verte" signposted hiking trail (there are many similar hiking trails in the area), 1 km from the "Voie Verte Véloire" (Green Route), which is linked to the "Cycloroute71" (Tour de Saône et Loire à vélo), connected to the EuroVélo6 cycle route and the "Tour de Bourgogne à Vélos" (Bicycle Tour of Burgundy), 30 km from the first vineyards of the Côtes Roannaises & 50 km from the vineyards of northern Beaujolais (various wine routes connected to the "Route des Vins de Bourgogne"). Prime location at the very southern tip of Burgundy, in the heart of the magnificent Charolais-Brionnais region (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"), cradle of the world-renowned AOC cattle breed, rich in sumptuous landscapes and an exceptional historical heritage, at the crossroads of the Sologne & Mountain Bourbonnaise and the Pays Roannais, not far from the Mâconnais-Clunisois and Beaujolais regions. Location of choice for easy access to several départements (at the crossroads of the Allier, Loire & Rhône): 13 km from Saint-Christophe-en-Brionnais & its iconic weekly "Market aux Bestiaux" dating from the late 15th century (one of the oldest in France, literally a show dedicated to the local Charolais star!), 21 km from Charlieu, 24 km from La Clayette, 25 km from Paray-le-Monial, 25 km from Digoin (river Marina at the convergence of 3 famous canals, including the famous Canal du Centre), 29 km from Charolles, 30 km from Roanne & 55 km from the famous PAL theme park. Possibility of renting the property's 2 Holiday cottages together for a capacity of 6 people (with gîte n°1324). The perfect holiday for all cycling enthusiasts, as well as for a relaxing break full of pleasures, with a bonus of lounging by the Piscine!

- Comfort
- Hospitality
- Value for money

Bonjour, merci de votre avis! Désolés pour votre mari!
Difficile pour nous de pousser les murs pour avoir un lit plus grand. Bien cordialement.
