Delightful authentic farm outbuilding dating from the early 19th century and carefully restored - offering access to a beautiful heated swimming pool (4x12m) shared with the owners (in "private hours") set in a vast landscaped enclosed garden of 3000m² - nestled in the heart of a peaceful, picturesque little village in the gentle Countryside of Cluny, 13 km from the typical village of Saint-Bonnet-de-Joux (supermarket on site) and 17 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, which has been awarded the prestigious "European Heritage" label (all amenities on site, including supermarkets). Total peace and quiet in the heart of the Countryside, protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for its rich ecosystems, nestled between the verdant Grosne & Guye valleys, in a magnificent, unspoilt setting combining pastoral hedged farmland, forests and ponds, "at the foot" of the iconic panoramic sentinel of the Butte de Suin (culminating at 600m altitude), not far from the wooded foothills of the southern Burgundy massif and the northern Beaujolais massif. A choice location, next to the Romanesque church circuit & the "Cycloroute 71" (Tour de la Saône-et-Loire by bike), on the route of numerous hiking trails marked out as "balades vertes" (a very rich network of hiking trails of the same type to be explored in the region), 1 km from the GR76 adjoining the GR7, 14 km from the Voie Verte de la "Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du Sud" (& its remarkable "Tunnel du Bois Clair" at 16 km, France's longest former railway tunnel open to a Voie Verte at 1.6 km), 16 km of a referenced 63 km "boucle vélo coup de cœur" (another 27 km loop accessible at 20 km), 17 km of the renowned GTM mountain bike trail ("Grand Tour du Massif Sud Bourgogne" linked to a vast network of signposted mountain bike trails criss-crossing the massif, with "VTT FFC" accreditation), 15 km or so from the first vineyards of the Côtes Mâconnaises (& the renowned "Val Lamartinien"), 30 km or so from the vineyards of the Beaujolais (first vineyard in the world to be recognized as a "UNESCO World Geopark") and the Côtes Chalonnaises ("Route des Vins de Bourgogne" extended by the "Route des Grands Vins" & "Route des Vins du Beaujolais" to explore). An ultra-privileged, central location in the very heart of southern Burgundy, on the borders of the Clunisois-Tournugeois region (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"), at the crossroads of the Mâconnais, Chalonnais and Charolais-Brionnais regions, cradle of the world-renowned AOC cattle breed (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"). Ideal for easy access: 20 km from Taizé (& its famous religious community), 26 km from Saint-Gengoux-le-National (labelled "Cités de Caractère de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté"), 25 km from Charolles, 29 km from the sumptuous landscape gem of Roche de Solutré labelled "Grand Site de France", 30 km from the medieval village of Mont-Saint-Vincent (one of the most beautiful sites in Burgundy, with a literally unique 360° panoramic "belvedere"), 31 km from Mâcon (TGV stations: Mâcon Loché 29 km / Creusot 48 km), 33 km from the medieval village of Brancion, 38 km from Paray-le-Monial, 41 km from Tournus & 43 km from Beaujeu (historic capital of Beaujolais). A soothing, charming cocoon for a relaxing romantic getaway, with poolside lounging as a bonus!

Noëlle & Axel (history buffs, author of a local book), open the doors to a delightful authentic farm outbuilding dating from the early 19th century, carefully restored to the highest standards, nestled on the edge of an alleyway opposite the village's elegant 12th-century Romanesque church. Peace & tranquility, nestled in the heart of a peaceful & picturesque little village perfectly preserved from the gentle clunisoise countryside (classified & protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for its wealth of flora & fauna) perched on a hillside in the hollow of a magnificent landscape of rolling meadows dotted with bucolic little rivers & ponds, beneath the wooded ridges of the vast Trois Monts national forest (literally the "green lung" of the region, ideal for relaxing walks or mountain bike rides). Very comfortable Holiday cottage "under the roof" (spacious). Cosy & refined "Countryside chic" style, in dialogue with the rich traces of the original building (stone walls & wooden lintels). Lots of charm & character. Cosy, cocooning & cozy atmosphere. Large gravel courtyard with terrace area, dominated by a "raised" garden. Access to the owners' vast & very pleasant enclosed garden (3000m²), carefully landscaped (grassed, planted & planted with trees) and featuring a beautiful heated communal swimming pool (4x12m), approved by a covered terrace. Composition: Holiday cottage adjoining the owners' home (total independence without vis-à-vis). Wifi (fiber). Wood central heating.

Merci encore !
Guillaume
