A pleasant, unspoilt country setting, nestled on a south-facing hillside beneath the wooded crests of the vast Trois Monts state forest, a magnificent natural wilderness protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone", dotted with signposted footpaths. Just a stone's throw from the heart of the peaceful village of Mazille, a "Clunisien Site" with a rich heritage (listed 11th-century Romanesque church, 11th-century MH priory, Celtic menhir, 13th-century Doyenné des Moines...), also known for its Carmelite convent ("le Carmel de la Paix", classified MH), with ultra-atypical modernist architecture (the work of a pupil of Le Corbusier), Original 1 ha shared property including a swimming pool, a petanque court, a henhouse, several terraces (one covered and one under a planted pergola) & a lawned garden with a small orchard (apple trees, plum cherry trees, kiwis... / picking possible). / pick-your-own). Scoccia Des points très positifs et d autres moins
Des points positifs : gîte très bien situé, au calme dans un très beau cadre. Bel espace extérieur très complet. La piscine. Bonne réactivité du propriétaire.
Des points moins positifs : la propreté du gîte doit nettement être améliorée. L extérieur est éloigné du gîte et nécessite un passage par la route. Présence des chiens de chasse (6) qui aboient de temps en temps dans la cour du gîte et y laissent des excréments. Le logement peut accueillir 8 personnes mais n est pas équipé pour les recevoir. Maximum 4 personnes.

Les ch'tis Vacances reposantes
Franck nous a bien accueilli, il a été de bons conseils sur les activités et restaurants dans les environs.
Le gîte est fonctionnel, petit bémol quant à la chaleur dans les chambres mais Franck va y remédier avec des ventilateurs...
La piscine et le jacuzzi sont les plus de ce gîte, ils sont en pleine nature et nous offre une vue imprenable sur les paysages avoisinants.
Nous avons apprécié ce séjour malgré les fortes chaleurs.- Cleanliness
