Delightful traditional 19th-century character property, steeped in history & carefully restored, nestled in the calm of a typical rural hamlet, in the heart of the bucolic Charolais bocage, a stone's throw from a vast wild Forest, on a beautiful 3-hectare natural property located 9 km from the charming town of Saint-Bonnet-de-Joux (small shops & supermarket on site) & 21 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, awarded the prestigious "European Heritage" label (all amenities on site). Total peace & quiet in unspoilt Countryside (protected ZNIEFF), magnificent rolling countryside combining agriculture & nature nestled between the verdant Grosne & Guye valleys, bordering a vast natural area classified as a "Natura 2000 Zone" (for its rich ecosystem), not far from the iconic panoramic sentinel of the Butte de Suin (culminating at 600m altitude), as well as the massifs of southern Burgundy & northern Beaujolais. Location of choice on the Romanesque church circuit, numerous signposted footpaths (linked to a vast network of "balades vertes" (green walks) criss-crossing the region, to be discovered on foot or mountain bike) & the GR7 (connected to the GR76), 17 km from the Voie Verte of the "Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du Sud", 18 km from the "Cycloroute 71" (Tour de Saône-et-Loire by bike), 25 km from the Voie Verte of the Canal du Centre (linked to the "EuroVélo6" cycle route and the "Tour de Bourgogne à vélos"), 19 km of the renowned GTM mountain bike trail ("Grand Tour du Massif Sud Bourgogne" linked to a vast network of signposted mountain bike trails criss-crossing the massif, with "VTT FFC" certification), around 15 km from the first vineyards of the Mâconnais and Côtes Chalonnaises ("Route des Vins de Bourgogne" extended by the "Route des Grands Vins" to be discovered) & around 50 km from Beaujolais (first vineyard in the world to be recognized as a "UNESCO World Geopark"). Ultra-privileged location at the crossroads of Clunisois-Tournugeois & Charolais-Brionnais (both "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"), Chalonnais and Autunois. Ideal for touring: 17 km from Taizé (& its famous religious community), 18 km from the medieval village of Mont-Saint-Vincent (one of Burgundy's most beautiful sites, with a literally unique 360° panoramic "belvedere"), 21 km from Saint-Gengoux-le-National (classified as a "Cités de Caractère de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté", 23 km from Charolles, 30 km from the medieval village of Brancion, 36 km from Paray-le-Monial, 38 km from Tournus, 43 km from the magnificent landscape of the Roches de Solutré & Vergisson (classified as a "Grand Site de France"), 43 km from Le Creusot TGV station, 44 km from Mâcon (Mâcon Loché 42 km TGV station), 49 km from Digoin (river Marina at the convergence of 3 famous canals) & 48 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (classified as a "City of Art and History"). Description 2026, subject to modifications for 2027: Please refer to the description sheet validated at the time of booking.

Nadine (a former equestrian guide) welcomes you to a delightful traditional 19th-century character property, steeped in history & carefully restored (once a "charronnerie" workshop, then a village café-auberge), nestled in the peace and quiet of a vast 3-hectare natural estate where, at the edge of the gîte, her peaceful horses "graze". Peace & total tranquility in the heart of the unspoilt Charolais Countryside (protected as a ZNIEFF for its rich ecosystems), nestled in a typical rural hamlet, on an undulating plateau of gentle bocage meadows dotted with small rivers (home in season to the famous Charolais cows), a stone's throw from a vast wild Forest (to be explored on relaxing walks or mountain bike rides). Bucolic countryside & natural surroundings, literally enchanting. Comfortable Holiday cottage. Ultra spacious. Large living room. Warm, country feel with a hint of vintage (including a beautiful "eighties" kitchen), in harmony with the totally exotic soul of the place (meticulous heritage renovation: beams, French ceilings & original stone walls). Pleasant relaxation room nestled in the former "bistro" room, featuring table soccer, billiards & ping-pong. Exposed terrace opening onto a large courtyard, literally a "natural" petanque court, featuring a restored old bread/pizza oven (available to guests). Superb unobstructed view of the surrounding Countryside. Magnificent panorama & scenery.
Composition: Detached house adjoining the owner's house (total independence). Wifi (fiber). Gas central heating + wood stove. Ground floor: living room (sofa bed 2 p. 140x190cm), kitchen, separate toilet, relaxation room (table soccer, billiards, table tennis). 1st floor: 2 bedrooms (bed 2 p. 140x190cm / 2 beds 1 p. 90x190cm), shower room, separate wc. Terrace + courtyard + private parking. Shared garden. Horse-riders welcome (no stalls). Small shops & supermarket 9 km away.

Merci à Nadine pour son accueil.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nos ados ont pleinement profité des activités à leur disposition (baby foot, billard, ping pong, Molky...) un vrai plus.
