Property steeped in history, set in unspoilt Countryside in the heart of the Morvan Regional Nature Park! Delightful, fully renovated "fifties" residence, nestled in a quiet, ultra-kept 3500m² garden - including a beautiful 10x4.5m heated Piscine & a pétanque court - in a peaceful residential hamlet adjoining the picturesque little village of Mesvres ("Site Clunisien"), 5.5 km from the typical market town of Etang-sur-Arroux (numerous amenities including a small supermarket) & 14 km from Autun, a "City of Art & History", a historic "Relais de Rome" in the heart of Burgundy, rich in 2000 years of human presence (literally exceptional heritage, all amenities on site & numerous sports & leisure facilities including a Golf course). Pleasant environment of wooded meadows (partly protected by ZNIEFF), close to a beautiful wild Forest, nestled on the southern slopes of the Morvan Massif in the green Mevsrin Valley, at the foot of the Uchon Massif & its famous "Signal d'Uchon" peak ("the Pearl of Morvan" 9 km away, natural site protected by ZNIEFF), not far from the famous Mont Beuvray (protected as a "Zone Natura 2000" for its rich ecosystems, with its summit occupied by the renowned "oppidum" of Bibracte, an ancient Gallic fortified city, one of the best preserved with its ramparts & quarters stretching over 200 ha) and the territory of the "Grands Lacs du Morvan". Location on the route of the legendary GTMC (Grande Traversée du Massif Central) mountain bike circuit & of a marked "balade verte" hiking trail (a vast network of similar hiking trails criss-crossing the region, to be explored on foot or mountain bike), not far from the Romanesque church circuit, 5.5 km from the GR131 (connected to the GR13 as well as to the renowned GRP of the "Grand Tour du Morvan"), 5.5 km from the "Cycloroute71" (Tour de Saône-et-Loire by bike), 16 km from the signposted "Itinérance Verte en Autunois" mountain bike trail, 16 km from the Voie Verte "du Morvan aux Vignobles" and some 40 km from the first vineyards of the Couchois (bordering the famous Côtes de Beaune & Hautes Côtes de Beaune) & the "Route des Grands Vins" which is extended by the illustrious "Route des Grand Crus" (passing through the legendary wine villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Pommard, Meursault...). In the heart of the Autunois, a sumptuous region steeped in history, tradition, legends and mystery, with a rare historical heritage and magnificent landscapes, at the crossroads of the Nièvre and Côte d'Or regions. Ideal for exploring several départements: 21 km from the renowned Paldenshangpa Buddhist temple, 20 km from Le Creusot (renowned Les Combes amusement park / Creusot TGV station 28 km away), 23 km from the famous Gallo-Roman archaeological site of Bibracte, designated a "Grand Site de France", 26 km from the departure station of the "Vélorail du Morvan" (22 km of Unusual nature rides) & 42 km from the medieval village of Mont-Saint-Vincent (one of the most beautiful sites in Burgundy, with a literally unique 360° panoramic "belvedere"). A very soothing "spot" for an ultra-resourceful "green getaway" for families and lovers alike, with "farniente" by the pool as a bonus!
