Beautiful Piscine (10x5m) & sublime panorama, right in the heart of the Vineyard! Charming authentic 19th-century barn - carefully converted into a comfortable, charming holiday cottage - nestled on a well-kept 4500m² property steeped in history (housing 3 Holiday cottages), quietly nestled "on the balcony" on the southern hillside, in a picturesque, peaceful wine-producing village of Couchois (Côtes Chalonnaises), 8 km from the charming spa town of Santenay (numerous leisure facilities, shops & services including supermarkets and Casino on site). Absolute tranquility in the rolling wine-growing Countryside of the Côtes Chalonnaises, a splendidly preserved setting combining bucolic vineyard slopes, meadows & beautiful wild forests (partly protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for its rich ecosystems), bordering the sumptuous Vallée des Vaux ("Little Switzerland of the Chalonnaise") & the famous "Val d'Or" of Mercurey (leader of the Côte Chalonnaise crus, one of France's oldest AOCs), at the crossroads of the world-renowned vineyards of Côtes de Beaune & Hautes Côtes de Beaune. An ultra-privileged Location next to the Romanesque church circuit, ideally situated on the "Route des Grands Vins" (which extends into the illustrious and nearby "Route des Grands Crus" through the mythical wine villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Pommard, Meursault...), the superb GRP "Au Fil des Vignobles et Vallées" (connected to the GR7, GR76 & GR137) & several signposted "balades vertes" footpaths (winding between vineyards & nature, for walking or mountain biking), 4 km from the Voie Verte du Canal du Centre (linked to the EuroVélo6 cycle route and the "Tour de Bourgogne à Vélo"), 4 km from the Voie Verte "du Morvan aux Vignobles" connected to the "Cycloroute71" (Tour de Saône-et-Loire à Vélo), 4 km from the Voie Verte "La Voie des Vignes" (36 km route through the vineyards of Burgundy's Grand Crus, the most eminent in the world), 8 km of the "Voie des Étangs" cycle route & around ten kms of two river ports linked to the famous Canal du Centre (a navigable route to discover on a boat trip or on foot). In the heart of the Chalonnais region, on the border between Côte d'Or and Pays Beaunois, at the crossroads of Autunois and Morvan (& its Nature Park), 8 km from the delightful medieval village of Couches (home to the sumptuous 13th-century château of Queen Marguerite de Bourgogne or the seven menhirs of Epoigny, one of Burgundy's most important megalithic sites), 10 km from the medieval wine-growing village of Nolay, 12 km from Chagny (famous for its Sunday morning gourmet Market), 25 km from Beaune, 25 km from Le Creusot (famous Combes amusement park / Creusot TGV station 24 km away), 26 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (labeled "City of Art and History"), 32 km from Autun ("City of Art and History", with a priceless heritage spanning over 2000 years of human presence) & 56 km from the famous Gallo-Roman archaeological site of Bibracte labelled "Grand Site de France". 3 Holiday cottages can be rented together (with n°3051 & 3052). The perfect spot for a rejuvenating getaway for two, alternating discovery with lounging by the Piscine! Perfectly soothing!

Charming, carefully restored traditional 19th-century barn nestled on a balcony and panoramic belvedere on the southern hillside at the edge of the Vineyard. Total tranquility, nestled at the end of an intimate cul-de-sac, in the heart of a peaceful, typical winegrowing village perched on a hill at the foot of Mont Rome (highest point in the area at 546m, climbing site & belvedere renowned for its views stretching from the Saône to the Autunois). In the heart of the rolling Chalonnais Countryside, nestled between the bucolic vineyards of Couchois & Maranges, in a delightful, unspoilt setting of vineyards, meadows & wooded hills. Very comfortable Holiday cottage with atypical architecture, furnished in the spirit of a "loft in the Countryside". Cosy "Countryside chic" atmosphere with contemporary accents, enhanced by the soul of the original building (imposing stone wall & beautiful roof structure). Lots of charm & character. Very cosy. Large gravel terrace "sur cour" naturally shaded by trees. Beautiful 4500m² property (shared) steeped in history (once a wine estate), carefully planted & flowered, including a small garden (swing), a beautiful Piscine (5x10m), a pétanque court, a ping-pong table & a pleasant "natural" meadow sheltering a fruit orchard with walking path (cherry, fig, apple, pear, walnut...). Sublime panoramic views of the Vineyards & surrounding Countryside. Magnificent scenery.
Composition: Detached house (total independence) on property housing two other Holiday cottages + owners' holiday home. Wifi (fiber). PAC heating. Ground floor (with half-floor): kitchen-living room (sofa bed 2 p. 140x200cm), shower room (shower/Wc). 1st floor: Mezzanine bed (2 x 100x200cm single beds, convertible into a 2 x 200x200cm double bed). Private gravel terrace. Shared grounds with Piscine (5x10m) & swing. Private parking. All amenities including supermarket 8 km.

Arnie Beautiful Gite with a stunning view
We stayed for a week in this well equipped Gite and felt really comfortable. Highlights were the quiet location and panoramic view, the cleanliness of the Gite and the really comfortable bed. Special thanks to the concierge Caroline who made us feel very welcome.

sandy gite la grange
Le gite la grange est agréable, la vue de la piscine est magnifique.
Logement refait à neuf.
Bon équipement.
Il manque:- aération dans la SDB,
- table de salon
- les tabourets de la cuisine sont trop haut par rapport à l'ilot et celui-ci ne permet pas d'accueillir les jambes.
Gros manque d'entretien de la piscine!- Cleanliness
