Charming 17th-century farm barn with elegant brick facade - steeped in history & meticulously restored - quietly situated on the edge of an alleyway, in the heart of a peaceful rural residential village nestled in the Countryside on the banks of the Doubs, just 500m away (a kayaker's paradise & a fishing site renowned for its famous catfish, pike-perch or carp / remarkable ecosystem partly classified as a "Natura 2000 Zone", for its exceptional bird sanctuary with 160 species & its very rare plant varieties). Nestling in a beautiful, unspoilt natural setting of farmland and bocage plains, Pontoux has the distinction of having the last floating mill on the Doubs (one of the very last of its kind in France) and a 27-hectare pond in a protected site (1.5 km), an exceptional "sensitive natural area" unique in Burgundy, classified as a "Natura 2000 zone" (nesting of numerous birds, with over 130 species listed, including one of the largest colonies of black-crowned night herons in Saône-et-Loire), with an educational trail (to be discovered in total discretion...).     Calme et confort

    Avec ces 6 chambres dotées de salles d'eau et toilettes, sa grande pièce à vivre et sa terrasse bien orientée, ce logement est idéal pour les réunions de famille. Il est situé dans un village calme. Des promenades peuvent être organisées à partir de la maison. Le propriétaire est un homme charmant et accueillant.
    Ce logement est parfait pour un séjour près de la nature et aussi pour des visites culturelles et patrimoniales.

    Annonce tout à fait conforme à la réalité. Beau gite spacieux, au calme , parfait pour retrouvailles familiales ou amicales. Nous avons apprécié les chambres toutes dotées de salle de bain et toilettes privatives et la grande terrasse accessible directement de la pièce à vivre .Propriétaire accueillant et arrangeant pour notamment les horaires d’arrivée.
