Exceptional landscaped setting! A true haven of peace & relaxation! Authentic traditional farmhouse dating from 1909, fully restored, nestled in a peaceful 2000m² enclosed garden, in the gentle rolling Brionnais Countryside, on a bucolic meadow plateau at the edge of the woods, 5 km from the shopping town of La Clayette (many local amenities, including supermarkets 4km away), nestling amphitheatrically on the banks of a 30-hectare lake bordered by a majestic medieval château (dating from 1380), one of South Burgundy's heritage gems! Absolute tranquility, immersed in the heart of the bucolic local bocage dotted with ponds & rivers, a stone's throw from a beautiful wild Forest, a magnificent, unspoilt setting of total nature & greenery nestled at the foot of nearby Mont Saint-Cyr (the highest point in Southern Burgundy, protected as a ZNIEFF) on the edge of the first wooded foothills of the Monts du Beaujolais, bordering the haut clunisois & its "verts vallons" of southern Burgundy, as well as the verdant Grosne valley (the "Little Switzerland of the Mâconnais"), largely protected as a "Zone Natura 2000" (for its remarkable ecosystems). Location ultra-privileged on the route of the Brionnais Romanesque church circuit & of several hiking trails marked out as "balades vertes" (a vast network of hiking trails of the same type criss-crossing the region, to be explored on foot or mountain bike), 3 km from the "Cycloroute71" (tour of Saône-et-Loire), 28 km from a greenway linked to the EuroVélo6 cycle route and the "Tour de Bourgogne à Vélo", 31 km of the Voie Verte "Véloire" along the banks of the Loire (Europe's last wild river, protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone"), some 30 km from the first Beaujolais vineyards (the world's first UNESCO Geopark) & some 40 km from the Côtes Maconnaises (including the renowned "Val Lamartinien"). At the southern tip of Burgundy, right in the heart of the superb Charolais-Brionnais region, which has been awarded the "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire" label - cradle of the world-renowned AOC cattle breed - at the crossroads of the Allier, Loire & Rhône departments, at the crossroads of the Sologne & Bourbonnaise Mountains, the Roannais region, the Mâconnais-Clunisois and the Beaujolais. Ideal for easy access: 18 km from Charolles, 26 km from the medieval village of Semur-en-Brionnais, awarded the rare "Plus beaux villages de France" label, 20 km from Saint Christophe-en-Brionnais and its famous Wednesday morning cattle market (marché au cadran), 26 km from Charlieu, 30 km from Marcigny (& its famous Monday morning market created in 1266), 31 km from Paray-le-Monial, 36 km from Beaujeu (historic capital of the Beaujolais region), 37 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, 44 km from Digoin (river Marina nestled at the convergence of 3 renowned canals, including the famous Canal du Centre), 46 km from the Roches de Solutré & Vergisson labelled "Grand Site de France", 47 km from Roanne & 51 km from Mâcon (Mâcon Loché TGV station 49 km away). A veritable "green paradise" for young and old, for a soothing "timeless" break for your mini-tribe!

Jean Bel endroit
Le lieu est véritablement au calme, avec des balades à faire au pied de la maison. Celle-ci est agréable, lumineuse et bien outillée.
