Stunning panoramic views and scenery just a stone's throw from one of Burgundy's most beautiful "viewpoints"! A charming, authentic 18th-century farmhouse steeped in history and fully restored—featuring an outbuilding with a wood-fired Sauna and a gaming room with a ping-pong table — nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of meadows, within a peaceful, typical little hamlet on a lovely, well-maintained, enclosed 1,500 m² property, perched on a “panoramic balcony” on a south-facing hillside, 3.5 km from the picturesque medieval town of Mont-Saint-Vincent, perched like a lookout point on the eponymous mountain (offering an exceptional 360° panoramic view from its summit across 14 departments, from Mont Blanc to Puy de Dôme!) and 16 km from Montceau-les-Mines, a historic mining town now fully dedicated to cultural and outdoor activities (all amenities, a Marina, and a vast Lake to explore on site). An absolutely magical and enchanting landscaped setting, overlooking the lush Guye Valley in the heart of Montceau’s gentle, rolling Countryside (protected as a ZNIEFF and various “Natura 2000” sites for its rich ecosystems), a bucolic, unspoiled setting that blends nature and agriculture among large lakes and ponds, wooded landscapes, rivers, and vast wild forests, about twenty kilometers from the junction of the Côtes Mâconnaises and Côtes Chalonnaises vineyards (the nearest vineyards are just nearby), traversed by the “Route des Vins de Bourgogne” and the “Route des Grands Vins” (which is extended by the illustrious “Route des Grands Crus,” passing through the legendary wine-growing villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Pommard, and Meursault. An exceptionally prime location along the Romanesque church circuit, various “nature” hiking trails, and several marked “green walks” (there is a very extensive network of similar hiking trails in the area, suitable for walking or mountain biking), 3 km from the GR7 (connected to the GR76), 8 km from a signposted cycling route connected to the “Voies Vertes,” 13 km from the Greenway along the famous Canal du Centre (a waterway also worth exploring on relaxing boat trips), which runs alongside the EuroVélo6 cycle route as well as the “Tour de Bourgogne à vélo” & 16 km from the “Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du Sud” Greenway, connected to the “Cycloroute71” (Tour de la Saône-et-Loire by Bike). A prime central location in the very heart of southern Burgundy, at the border of southern Chalonnais and northern Charolais-Brionnais (designated a “Pays d’Art et d’Histoire”), at the crossroads of the Tournugeois-Clunisois region (designated a “Pays d’Art et d’Histoire”), the Autunois-Morvan region, and the Mâconnais region. 16 km from Saint-Gengoux-le-National (designated a “Cité de Caractère de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté”), 29 km from Le Creusot (home to the renowned Les Combes amusement park / Le Creusot TGV station 23 km away), 31 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, 31 km from Charolles, 31 km from the medieval village of Brancion, 37 km from Diverti’Parc (a nature-oriented family recreation park, one of a kind in Burgundy), 39 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (designated a “City of Art and History”), 39 km from Tournus, 45 km from the famous Paldenshangpa Buddhist temple, 43 km from the “City of the Sacred Heart” of Paray-le-Monial, 5 km from Autun (designated a “City of Art and History” & its exceptional heritage, spanning over 2,000 years of human history) & 54 km from Mâcon. A soothing “retreat” with old-world charm that offers a complete change of scenery—ideal for an ultra-relaxing, “timeless” getaway with the family!

A charming, authentic 18th-century farmhouse steeped in history, fully restored into a peaceful vacation home, nestled quietly on a cul-de-sac in the heart of a lovely, typical rural hamlet, on the edge of meadows (with sheep or Charolais cows as close neighbors during certain seasons). Complete tranquility on the outskirts of a peaceful little village perched like a “lookout” on the foothills of Mont-Saint-Vincent, an exceptional “promontory” rising to 603 meters and offering a breathtaking panorama (a remarkable 360° unobstructed view spanning 14 departments, all the way to Mont Blanc and Puy de Dôme on a clear day!), whose slopes are home to the picturesque medieval town of the same name, steeped in history and brimming with charm (located just a stone’s throw away). The surrounding countryside is beautifully rolling (protected as a ZNIEFF and various “Natura 2000” sites for its rich flora and fauna), a preserved, bucolic setting combining wooded meadows dotted with lakes and ponds and beautiful wild forests, not far from the first Vineyards of the Mâconnais region. A comfortable holiday cottage. Warm, rustic charm, with the feel of a cozy “countryside house” with a touch of “bohemian” flair, enhanced by the exotic atmosphere of a historic rural home that has been perfectly preserved (featuring the rich original architectural details: exceptional “tomettes” floors, fireplace mantel, stone walls, roof trusses and beams, authentic stone and wood feed troughs…). Plenty of charm and character. Large, enclosed property (with a badminton/volleyball net), carefully landscaped with flowers and trees, nestled on a “panoramic balcony” on a south-facing hillside (flanked by an orchard with blackcurrant, raspberries, plum trees, cherry trees, apple trees, pear trees… / Picking allowed during your stay). A sun-exposed terrace opens onto a large courtyard (literally a “natural pétanque court”) featuring a second terrace and an authentic old farm outbuilding offering a Sauna area and a gaming room (ping-pong table) with a summer kitchen (upstairs) leading to a vast, largely sheltered panoramic terrace. Stunning landscapes and a splendid unobstructed view of the surrounding Countryside, with the Charolais Mountains as a backdrop. An enchanting setting and location, 100% relaxing and rejuvenating.
Layout: Detached house with an outbuilding. Wi-Fi (fiber). Gas heating + wood-burning stove. Duplex holiday cottage.
