Boasting an elegant 14th-century Romanesque church and a citystadium, Brienne is nestled in the heart of the Bresse Countryside, in an agricultural plain dotted with ponds between the fish-filled rivers of the Sâne and Seille (a natural area classified as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for its wealth of flora and fauna), Brienne is surrounded by beautiful countryside, combining fields of crops, hedged meadows, ponds & vast wild forests, not far from the first Vineyards of the Mâconnais. Very comfortable Holiday cottage nestled under the roofs in a "cocoon" style, on the site of the former "granary". Warm country charm with a contemporary "Nordic" feel, enhanced by the totally exotic spirit of the place (original wooden frame & "Unusual" wooden access door).
