Charming, fully-restored 19th-century country house, quietly situated on the edge of a lane & field, in the heart of a peaceful rural residential village nestled on the banks of the Doubs (a kayaker's paradise & a fishing site renowned for its famous catfish, pike-perch or carp / remarkable ecosystem, part of which is classified as a "Natura 2000 Zone", for its exceptional bird sanctuary with 160 very rare plant species & varieties). Nestled in the Countryside in a beautiful, unspoilt environment of bocage plains, Pontoux was the last commune to have a floating mill on the Doubs (one of the very last in France), and boasts a 27-hectare pond (1.5 km away), also protected as a "Zone Natura 2000", a sensitive natural area unique in Burgundy (nesting birds of over 130 species, including one of the largest colonies of black-crowned night herons in Saône-et-Loire).     chouette maison pour un weekend famille

    Jolie maison dans un village calme, pratique à l'usage (petite terrasse couverte, grand jardin, grandes chambres, bonne répartition des couchages), avec certes quelques points qui mériteraient de petites améliorations ou rénovations (un peu de poussière dans les coins, le coin évier de cuisine est un peu petit), mais tout est fonctionnel. Nous y avons passé un très beau weekend pour se retrouver en famille. Le propriétaire est accueillant, et disponible mais juste si besoin ;) Bon rapport qualité/ prix.

    Nous remercions le propriétaire pour son accueil.

    Plusieurs soucis rencontrés pendant le séjour cependant : l'électroménager en général est capricieux (four en panne, sèche linge qui dysfonctionne, cafetière, lave vaisselle panier HS)
    Chauffage avec des convecteurs avec électricité à notre charge...
    Odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain
    Propreté relative (poussière et toile d'araignée)

    Proprietaire trés sympatique

    Un hébergement super mais qui vieillit et qui a vu passer de nombreux locataires pas toujours soigneux , c'est dommage .
    Mais le propriétaire est très réactif au moindre souci , très gentil et ça compense largement les incidents ( sans gravité) que nous avons eu et qui ne relevaient pas de son fait .
    Si on retourne en vacances dans la région je re-choisirais ce gite sans souci .
    Le grand jardin est super avec des fruitiers ( pommes , poires , prunes et mures on a tout gouté.
    Possibilité de prendre ses repas dehors coté jardin ou coté rue pour varier .
    Le voisinage est accueillant malgré nos 2 chiens et nos enfants qui n'ont pas été de tout repos . Plus les adultes pas silencieux non plus .
