Relaxing "Countryside" in the heart of nature! Absolutely magical setting! Charming traditional 17th-century farmhouse steeped in history & fully restored - featuring a vast garden with a beautiful 5x3m "above-ground" swimming pool - nestled in the calm of unspoilt Countryside, on a site protected as a "Zone Natura 2000" & ZNIEFF for the quality of its rich ecosystems, within a "dispersed" mini rural hamlet 7.5 km from the charming medieval, wine-growing & shopping village of Saint-Gengoux-le-National, a major "Cluniac site" with the "Cités de Caractère de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté" label (many amenities on site, including a supermarket). Absolute tranquility, nestled on the edge of meadows at the edge of a vast wild forest (the Bois du Grand Bragny), in the hollow of the bucolic Grosne valley winding at the foot of the wooded foothills of the nearby South Burgundy Massif, a soothing hilly setting with magnificent landscapes, a succession of vineyard slopes, bocage, rivers, ponds & forests. Ultra-privileged Location at the crossroads of the vineyards of the Haut Mâconnais & the Côtes Chalonnaises (first vineyards 6 km away), ideally situated on the route of the Romanesque churches & several hiking trails marked out as "balades vertes" (vast network of hiking trails of the same type to be explored in the area), 5.5 km from a marked cyclo itinerary serving the famous Canal du Centre & the EuroVélo6 cycle route (connected to the "Tour de Bourgogne à Vélos"), 6 km from the Voie Verte of the "Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du sud", 7 km from the "Cycloroute71" (Tour de la Saône-et-Loire by bike), 7 km from the GR76 linked to the mythical "Chemin des Moines" (formerly linking the abbeys of Cluny & Cîteaux) and the "ViaCluny", 7 km from the renowned GTM mountain-bike trail (Grand Tour du Massif Sud-Bourgogne) and 19 km from the Voie Bleue along the Saône river, close to the "Route des Grands Vins" (Côtes Chalonnaises & Couchois) and the "Route des Vins de Bourgogne" (Mâconnais-Beaujolais). A prime location, between Grosne & Saône on the borders of the southern Chalonnais region, at the crossroads of Tournugeois-Clunisois (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"), Mâconnais & Bresse Bourguignonne, all rich in exceptional heritage and splendid landscapes. Ideal for easy access to the heart of southern Burgundy: 12 km from the shopping town of Sennecey-le-Grand, 16 km from the medieval village of Brancion, 22 km from Tournus (world-renowned abbey site), 24 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (classified as a "City of Art and History"), 25 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, 36 km from Le Creusot TGV station, 43 km from Louhans, 44 km from the sumptuous landscape of the Roches de Solutré & Vergisson (classified as a "Grand Site de France"), 47 km from Mâcon (Mâcon Loché TGV 45 km), 50 km from Charolles & 54 km from Beaune. A true haven of peace & quiet, with the "Accueil Vélo" label, perfect for a "tribal" break that's literally "out of time"!

Description 2026, subject to modifications for 2027: Please refer to the description sheet validated at the time of booking.
Delightful, traditional 17th-century farmhouse steeped in history, carefully restored (once linked to a seigniorial estate connected to Cluny Abbey), nestled in the countryside in a "dispersed rural" hamlet, on the edge of bocage meadows (with peaceful Charolais cows as privileged neighbors) & a vast forest, a stone's throw from a small pond, not far from the picturesque "heart" of the village. Calm & total tranquility, in the hollow of a bucolic valley (with its fish-filled river nearby), a magnificent setting of nature & greenery protected as a "Zone Natura 2000" & ZNIEFF for its rich flora & fauna ecosystem. Country setting & natural beauty, 100% relaxing. The privilege of observing wildlife on site (deer, foxes, wild boar, herons, egrets...). Spacious, comfortable gîte. Warm country charm, combining the spirit of a gentle "family home" with the exotic soul of an old residence (beautifully restored to preserve its heritage: original beams & framework, majestic stone fireplace mantel, stone niches, wooden lintels...). Lots of charm & character. Cosy & cozy atmosphere. Pleasantly landscaped garden (2500m²) featuring: shaded garden furniture under a weeping willow, "above-ground" swimming pool (5x3m), badminton net, "natural" pétanque court on the courtyard side, various rest areas & swing at the back of the house. Beautiful unobstructed view of the surrounding countryside.
Composition: Detached house on 2 levels. Wifi (fiber). Gas central heating + wood-burning stove. Ground floor: living room-kitchen, living room-lounge, 1 bedroom (double bed 140x190cm) with private bathroom (shower/WC). 1st floor: 2 bedrooms (bed 2 p. 140x190cm + 2 bunk beds 1p. 90x200cm + bed 1p. 100x190cm / bed 2 p. 140x190cm + 3 single beds 90x190cm including 2 twin beds), bathroom (bath/WC).
