Christine and Patrick—both passionate about gardening and horticulture (and Patrick is an amateur beekeeper whose honey you can enjoy alongside the “homemade jams”)—welcome you to a charming, authentic 18th-century farmhouse that has been fully restored, perched on a “panoramic viewpoint” on a south-facing hillside, surrounded by vineyards and bordering meadows, in a small rural hamlet overlooking the picturesque village of Martailly-lès-Brancion. Steeped in charm and rich in history, this preserved village boasts a truly unique heritage, including a superb medieval town perched at an altitude of 400 meters, home to a 10th-century feudal castle and a listed 12th-century Romanesque church, and is set in a literally enchanting landscape, nestled in a bucolic valley of Vineyards, beneath the wooded ridges of the gentle surrounding hills, in close proximity to several beautiful, unspoiled Forests. An enchanting setting and complete tranquility, in the heart of the Haut-Mâconnais countryside (protected as a ZNIEFF and “Natura 2000” site for its rich flora and fauna). A comfortable guest room, nestled at the back of the house, featuring a pleasant private terrace naturally shaded by a hazelnut tree. Warm country charm enhanced by the elegant original French-style ceiling. An extremely rare landscaped property spanning 4,500 m², meticulously maintained with lawns, plants, filled with flowers and trees, flanked by a large sheltered terrace, a vegetable garden (perfect for strolling), a chicken coop, and a gentle pasture home to the owners’ Charolais sheep. Stunning panoramic views of the surrounding Countryside.
Layout: Bedroom on the ground floor of the owner’s house (completely separate entrance). Wi-Fi (fiber). Heat pump heating. Family room (double bed, 160x200 cm) with TV, private bathroom (shower/toilet), and private terrace (gravel). 4,500 m² property (including covered terrace). Private parking. Bicycle storage.
