Authentic, fully-restored 19th century winegrower's house set in a peaceful, enclosed, 3000m² property in the heart of the magnificent vineyards of the famous Saint-Véran cru, in the heart of the Mâcon countryside (part of which is classified as a "Natura 2000" zone for the quality of its rich ecosystem) in the gentle Arlois valley, a stone's throw from the picturesque winegrowing village of Leynes & 13 km from Mâcon on the banks of the Saône (with all amenities including a river marina). Peaceful residential hamlet nestled in a bucolic, unspoilt valley of vineyard slopes, nestled beneath the wooded ridges of a vast, untamed forest massif, overlooking the Saône valley on the borders of the Mâconnais & Haut Beaujolais mountains, in the extension of the renowned "Val Lamartinien" (named after the famous French poet & writer) & the sumptuous landscaped jewel of the neighbouring Roches de Solutré & Vergisson labelled "Grand Site de France" (5.5 km). Ultra-privileged location at the very southern tip of Burgundy, on the "Route des Vins de Bourgogne", the Romanesque churches circuit, the GR76, a referenced mountain bike trail (connected to a vast, signposted "espace VTT" criss-crossing the massif) & a "balade verte" signposted hiking trail (several other trails of the same type winding between vineyards and open countryside to discover in the vicinity), 7.5 km from the Voie Verte & 13 km from the Voie Bleue along the Saône (connected to EuroVélo17). At the crossroads of the Rhône & Ain, Mâconnais, Beaujolais, Clunisois-Tournugeois (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire") & Bresse de l'Ain, all rich in sublime landscapes, exceptional heritage and world-renowned gastronomy. Ideal location for easy access (A6 & RCEA connection 8 km away): 4.5 km from Saint-Amour-Bellevue (ultra-renowned gastronomic stopover with "star" restaurants), 8 km from Mâcon Loché TGV station, 12 km from Touroparc Zoo animal park, 26 km from Beaujeu (historic capital of Beaujolais), 26 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, 36 km from Villefranche-sur-Saône, 45 km from Tournus, 47 km from La Clayette & 47 km from Bourg-en-Bresse. An ideal "pied à terre" for a soothing romantic or family getaway, immersed in the "heart of the vineyards"!

Description 2026, subject to modifications for 2027: Please refer to the description sheet validated at the time of booking.

Authentic, fully-restored 19th-century winegrower's house, nestled in the heart of the bucolic vineyards of the famous Saint-Véran cru (among other local products) in the gentle Arlois valley (the only one in Burgundy whose geological particularity produces the white, rosé & red wines of both southern Burgundy and northern Beaujolais). Peace & tranquility in a small winegrowing hamlet, dotted with delightful little streets, just a stone's throw from the picturesque village of Leynes, a charming, typical and perfectly preserved village in the Côtes Mâconnaises (12th-century Romanesque church, several castles, carefully restored historic houses, washhouses, etc.), perched amphitheatrically under the wooded ridges of a small forest protected as a "Natura 2000" zone, at the foot of a vast, wild forest massif. Magnificent, gentle mountain setting offering sublime panoramas & landscapes (on a clear day, you can see the Alps, the Vercors, all the way to Mont-Blanc from the heights). Spacious, comfortable gîte. Warm country style with a touch of vintage and contemporary touches. The gentle, relaxing ambience of an old house. Pleasant private garden (reserved space) nestled on a well-kept 3000m² enclosed property (grassed, planted with trees, including apple, plum, walnut, peach trees... / picking possible with the owners' agreement). A sheltered terrace on the courtyard side is complemented by a panoramic covered balcony on the garden side, offering an unobstructed view of the village and vineyards.
Composition: Semi-detached village house (including owners' house / total independence). Wifi (fiber). Gas central heating. Raised ground floor (4 steps) with interior half-level. Living room-kitchen, 1 bedroom (2 double beds 140x190cm), bathroom (shower/Wc). Enclosed garden + sheltered terrace & balcony + bike room + private parking. Shared access to owners' enclosed property. All amenities including supermarket 7.5 km.
