Right in the heart of a picturesque little village typical of the Haut Charolais region, set against the hillside & edge of the Forest on a well-exposed west-facing hillside. Beaubery was a "resistance stronghold" during the Second World War, and boasts a city stadium for Kids (just a stone's throw away) and a renowned 15-hectare fishing pond. It is set in a sublime natural setting of gentle mountains, a succession of peaceful valleys, pastures and meadows dominated by the wooded hills of the surrounding mountains.
