Postcard-perfect landscaped setting in the heart of a charming typical village steeped in history, famous for its "Grottes"! Charming authentic 18th-century farmhouse carefully converted into an ultra-comfortable contemporary-style "cocoon" - flanked by a vast panoramic balcony-terrace - nestled in a peaceful setting 10 km from the picturesque wine-growing village of Lugny ("the little capital of the Haut-Mâconnais" with numerous shops, a renowned "Accrobranche" site and the leading Burgundy wine-producing winery) & 11 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny (all amenities on site). In the gentle, rolling Cluny Countryside on the borders of the Haut Mâconnais, a sublime, unspoilt setting of nature and greenery, combining bocage meadows, bucolic vineyards and beautiful, wild forests (largely protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for its remarkable ecosystems), adjoining the verdant Grosne Valley in the heart of the wild, protected South Burgundy Massif. An ultra-privileged Location on the Romanesque churches circuit, the "Burgundy Wine Route", numerous signposted footpaths including two "balades vertes" (a rich network of similar hiking trails criss-crossing the region, to be explored on foot or mountain bike) & the "Cycloroute71" (Tour de la Saône-et-Loire by bike), 1.5 km from the GR76 (adjoining the historic "Chemin des Moines" linking the abbeys of Citeaux & Cluny as well as the famous "ViaCluny" GR), 1.5 km from the renowned GTM mountain bike circuit (Grand Tour du Massif Sud Bourgogne linked to a vast network of signposted mountain bike trails criss-crossing the Massif, with "VTT FFC" certification), 5 km from a renowned downhill mountain bike track (Mont Saint-Romain), 7 km from the Voie Verte of the "Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du Sud" & 18 km from the Voie Bleue running alongside the Saône. In the heart of the Haut Mâconnais & Tournugeois-Clunisois vineyards (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"), at the crossroads of the Chalonnais (Côtes Chalonnaises nearby) and Bresse Bourguignonne regions. Perfect location for exploring the whole of southern Burgundy: 6.5 km from the famous Azé caves, 14 km from Taizé (& its famous religious community), 14 km from the medieval town of Brancion, 21 km from the medieval village of Saint-Gengoux-le-National (classified as a "Cités de Caractère de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté"), 24 km from Tournus, 25 km from Pont de Vaux (river Marina linked to the Saône), 25 km from Mâcon (Mâcon Loché TGV station 28 km away), 27 km from the sumptuous Roche de Solutré & Vergisson landscaped jewel, awarded the "Grand Site de France" label, 31 km from Cuisery, one of France's 8 exclusive "Villages du Livre", 31 km from the rare Truchère Nature Reserve (remarkable protected ecosystem), 43 km from Vonnas (Georges Blanc's gastronomic village), 44 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (awarded the "City of Art and History" label) & 48 km from Charolles. A soothing bubble of charm and serenity just a stone's throw from vineyards and nature, for a rejuvenating country break for two!

Description 2026, subject to modifications for 2027: Please refer to the description sheet validated at the time of booking.
Delightful, authentic, carefully restored 18th-century Burgundy farmhouse (with traditional "galerie mâconnaise") set against a wooded hillside on a south-east-facing slope, nestled in a quiet lane (organic farm opposite the Holiday cottage), a stone's throw from the heart of a peaceful, typical, perfectly preserved village, steeped in charm and steeped in history (famous for its resistance during WWII). Nestled in the gentle Countryside, in the hollow of a bucolic valley, at the foot of Mont Saint-Romain (a listed natural site, an exceptional belvedere culminating at 580m offering a 360° view as far as Mont-Blanc on a clear day & a renowned downhill mountain bike trail), Blanot enjoys an absolutely enchanting landscape, combining hedged meadows, beautiful wild forests & Vineyards (largely protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for its wealth of flora & fauna), boasts a rich heritage (rare 13th-century Cluniac Priory, old washhouses, bread oven, restored historic homes with lava roofs & galleries, 6th & 7th-century Merovingian tombs etc....) and home to the famous "Grottes" (jewel of the Clunisois, classified as a ZNIEFF for the protection of rare species of bats). Very comfortable Holiday cottage in place of the former "fenil". Warm, contemporary country style. Zen atmosphere & very soft. Enveloping "cocoon", uncluttered, cosy & cozy. Pleasant, vast, panoramic balcony-terrace with unobstructed views over the Countryside and the village, which boasts an elegant Romanesque church.
Composition: Semi-detached house. Wifi (fiber). PAC + wood heating. Air-conditioning. 1st floor (access by staircase rising from outside). Living-room-kitchen (sofa bed 2 p. 160x200cm), bedroom (bed 2 p. 160x200cm), shower room, separate toilet. Balcony-terrace (20m²) + garage (1 space / bike room). Convenience store 7.5 km. All amenities including supermarkets 11 km.
