Between "City & Countryside" close to all amenities! Authentic traditional 19th-century Bresse home, nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac in a peaceful, scattered rural hamlet, 6 km from Louhans, the historic capital of the Bresse region, famous for its iconic medieval shopping street with 157 arcades (one of the most remarkable of its kind in France and Europe) and for its renowned "Monday Market", which has been awarded the "Remarkable site of taste" label (all amenities on site, including supermarket 2.5 km and excellent sports and leisure facilities). In the heart of the Bresse-Louhannais Countryside, nestling on the edge of fields & wooded meadows, a stone's throw from the banks of the Seille (protected ZNIEFF & "Zone Natura 2000" for its remarkable ecosystems), a bucolic, unspoilt setting, combining agriculture & nature between bocage plains dotted with ponds & rivers, beautiful wild forests & the mountain foothills of the nearby Jura Massif (GR59 & renowned GRP de la "Bresse Comtoise" to explore). Location of choice, not far from the Romanesque church circuit, adjacent to several signposted "balades vertes" footpaths (first accessible at 1.5 km / extensive network of similar hiking and mountain bike trails in the area), 3 km from the Voie Verte "Voie Bressane" linked to the "Cycloroute71" (Tour de Saône-et-Loire by bike), connected to the Voie Bleue (along the Saône) & Voie Verte of the "Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du Sud" (both accessible at around 30 km) and to the Voie Verte de la Bresse Jurassienne (junction at 23 km), nestled between the world-renowned vineyards of Southern Burgundy (Côtes Mâconnaises, Côtes Chalonnaises, Côtes de Beaune & Hautes Côtes de Beaune) & the vineyards of the Jura (first vineyards some 20 km away / various wine routes to explore, including the "Route des Grands Vins" & the illustrious "Route des Grands Crus"). Right in the heart of Bresse Bourguignonne - birthplace of the renowned AOC Bresse poultry - at the crossroads of the Chalonnais, Tournugeois-Clunisois (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"), Mâconnais and Bresse regions of the Ain & Jura. Privileged location at the crossroads of the Ain & Jura départements (A39 14 km away): 15 km from the Bresse motor racing circuit (multi-activity car, motorcycle and karting on 48 ha), 24 km from the medieval town of Romenay, 24 km from Cuisery ("le Village du livre"), 24 km from Cuiseaux ("le Village des peintres"), 28 km from Lons-le-Saunier, 32 km from the rare Truchère Nature Reserve, 32 km from Tournus (world-renowned abbey site), 42 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (labeled "City of Art & History") & 46 km from Seurre. A comfortable little "nest" for a soothing romantic getaway!
