Lætitia & Fabien welcome you to an authentic, traditional 18th-century farmhouse, fully restored & revisited as a gentle holiday retreat, nestled in a quiet, south-west facing hillside, on the edge of a small road, in the heart of a picturesque residential rural mini hamlet. Magnificent surrounding countryside, totally restful & relaxing, nestled in the heart of the gentle, rolling Mountain brionnaise countryside (on a natural area protected as a ZNIEFF for its wealth of flora & fauna), in the hollow of a verdant valley of wooded bocage meadows crossed by a small river (home to the peaceful & famous local Charolais cows in season), encircled by beautiful & vast wild forests (to be explored on relaxing walks or mountain bike rides). Peace & tranquility in the heart of a peaceful, unspoilt rural setting, combining agriculture & nature, nestled at the foot of the famous Mountain de Dun, steeped in legend & mystery (highest point in the area at 736m), an exceptional 360° panoramic sentinel (offering, on a clear day, an unmissable view of "up to 35 bell towers") & a site steeped in history (notably Celtic) with an elegant 12th-century Romanesque chapel at its summit. Comfortable Holiday cottage on the site of former stables. Warm country style with contemporary accents. Pleasant, large panoramic terrace (planted with flowers) adjoining a small enclosed courtyard (in the shade of an old turreted dovecote), offering a beautiful, unobstructed view of the hamlet and surrounding Countryside (including nearby pastures).
