Postcard landscape! A literal haven of peace & relaxation! Elegant, carefully restored traditional 19th-century farmhouse with character - nestled in a pleasant, well-kept 2000m² enclosed garden with numerous leisure facilities - nestled in a peaceful "dispersed" rural mini hamlet, in the heart of a bucolic setting preserved by nature & greenery, 4.5 from the picturesque village of Dompierre-les-Ormes (small shops including a mini-market / home to the exceptional Pézanin arboretum & the renowned "Lab71", a discovery center for sustainable development & science) & 8 km from the charming, typical shopping town of Matour, which has been awarded the "Station verte de vacances" label (numerous amenities including a small supermarket & a remarkable level of leisure facilities). In the heart of the Haut-Clunysois Countryside (the "Little Switzerland of the Mâconnais", protected as a Natura 2000 & ZNIEFF zone for its remarkable ecosystems), in the hollow of the "green valleys" of Southern Burgundy, a sublime, unspoiled setting of gentle mountains combining bucolic, undulating bocage & vast, wild forests, overlooking the verdant Grosne valley opposite the massif of northern Beaujolais (& its vast signposted "mountain bike area"), extending the sumptuous landscape jewel of the Roches de Solutré & Vergisson labelled "Grand Site de France" (located 31 km away), in close proximity to Mont Saint-Cyr (highest point in southern Burgundy at 771m), as well as the iconic Butte de Suin. On the routes of numerous signposted footpaths, including several "balades vertes" (a vast network of identical hiking trails criss-crossing the region, to be explored on foot or mountain bike), the GR7 & the "Cycloroute71" (Tour de Saône-et-Loire by bike), not far from the Romanesque church circuit, 23 km from the Voie Verte de la "Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du Sud" (& its remarkable "Tunnel du Bois Clair", France's longest former railway tunnel open to a Voie Verte with its 1.6 km) linked to the Voie Bleue (running along the Saône), 26 km of the renowned GTM mountain bike course with "VTT FFC" certification ("Grand Tour du Massif Sud Bourgogne" linked to a vast network of similar signposted mountain bike trails running through the massif), about 20 km from the Mâconnais vineyards ("Route des Vins de Bourgogne"), including the famous nearby "Val Lamartinien" (named after the illustrious host) & about 30 km from the Beaujolais vineyards (first vineyard in the world to be recognized as a UNESCO World Geopark / various wine routes to discover). Privileged location at the southern tip of Burgundy, on the borders of the Mâconnais region, at the crossroads of the Clunisois-Tournugeois (certified "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire") & the Charollais-Brionnais (also certified "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire") cradle of the world-renowned AOC cattle breed. Ideal for touring (RCEA access 8 km away): 18 km from La Clayette, 20 km from Charolles, 26 km from the illustrious "abbey city" of Cluny, 34 km from Paray-le-Monial, 36 km from Beaujeu (historic capital of Beaujolais), 38 km from Charlieu, 40 km from Mâcon (Mâcon Loché TGV station 38 km away), 42 km from Marcigny, 46 km from Digoin (& its river Marina linked to the Canal du Centre). An ultra-comfortable resort for a relaxing "breath of fresh air out of time", with family and friends alike! A real "mini green paradise" for young and old alike!

Magalie Semaine familiale
