In the heart of the Morvan Natural Park, very close to the famous Paldenshangpa Buddhist temple and the renowned “Étang des Baudurettes” lake, which is equipped for swimming! A fully renovated “’80s-style” cottage with a refined contemporary design—surrounded by a pleasant, enclosed garden of 1,500 m² —tucked away in a peaceful setting on the edge of fields and meadows, just a stone’s throw from a picturesque pond, in the heart of a small rural hamlet located 9 km from the charming, traditional village of Toulon-sur-Arroux (with numerous amenities, including a supermarket). Set in the heart of the unspoiled Morvan countryside (designated a ZNIEFF nature reserve for its rich ecosystems), this magnificent rolling landscape blends agriculture with unspoiled nature, nestled among bucolic wooded landscapes dotted with rivers and ponds and beautiful wild forests, nestled at the very southern tip of the Morvan massif in the heart of the lush Arroux Valley (and its nearby river teeming with fish, perfect for exploring on peaceful canoe or kayak trips), near the Uchon Massif and its renowned “Signal d’Uchon” peak (“the Pearl of the Morvan,” a classified natural site). A prime location along the routes of the Romanesque Churches Circuit and “Cycloroute 71” (Tour de Saône-et-Loire by bike), close to several marked “green trails” (an extensive network of similar hiking and mountain bike paths crisscrossing the region, suitable for walking or mountain biking), 6 km from the legendary GMTC mountain biking route (Grande Traversée du Massif Central, connected to the “From the Morvan to the Vineyards” Greenway), 8 km from the GR 131 trail linked to the GRP “Grand Tour of the Morvan Massif,” 29 km from the Canal du Centre Greenway (a route also worth exploring on leisurely boat trips), which runs alongside the EuroVelo 6 cycle route as well as the “Tour de Bourgogne à Vélo,” about 50 km from the first Vineyards of the Couchois and the Côtes Chalonnaises, about 60 km from the Mâconnais region and about 70 km from the world-famous Vineyards of the Côtes de Beaune and Hautes Côtes de Beaune (the “Route des Grands Vins,” extended by the illustrious “Route des Grands Crus,” which is well worth exploring). In the heart of the sublime, unspoiled Autunois-Morvan region, steeped in traditions, legends, and mysteries, rich in magnificent landscapes and an exceptional historical heritage (ancient, medieval, industrial…), at the crossroads of the Nièvre, Chalonnais, and Charollais-Brionnais regions—designated a “Pays d’Art et d’Histoire” (a land of livestock farming and the birthplace of the AOC for the world-renowned cattle breed), not far from the Mâconnais and the Clunisois-Tournugeois regions. Ideal as a base for exploring the region: 10 km from Diverti’Parc (a family-friendly nature-oriented recreation park, the only one of its kind in Burgundy), 16 km from Luzy, 27 km from the famous Gallo-Roman archaeological site of Bibracte, designated a “Grand Site de France,” 31 km from Autun (designated a “City of Art & History” with over 2,000 years of human history!), 36 km from Digoin (a Marina nestled at the confluence of three canals, including the “Canal Tranquille” connecting Digoin to Roanne), 38 km from Le Creusot (home to the renowned Les Combes amusement park / Le Creusot TGV station 43 km away), 42 km from Paray-le-Monial, 42 km from the medieval village of Mont-Saint-Vincent (featuring a 360° panoramic viewpoint unique in Burgundy), 43 km from Charolles, 44 km from the medieval spa town of Bourbon-Lancy, and 44 km from the starting station of the “Vélorail du Morvan” (a 22-km unusual ride through the heart of nature). A peaceful “little corner of the countryside” for a relaxing “green getaway” with the family! The perfect spot for kids!

Corinne welcomes you to an "eighties"-style house, fully restored and transformed into a comfortable vacation home, nestled peacefully on a “mini panoramic promontory” atop a hill overlooking the surrounding countryside (with the bucolic private pond of Chevannes serving as a backdrop), nestled on the edge of a vast plateau of fields and meadows (with the famous local Charolais cows as close neighbors), just a stone’s throw from the banks of the Arroux (a bucolic, natural river teeming with fish, dotted with beautiful natural beaches and "pools" for cooling off in the summer), as well as the renowned “Pierre qui Croule” site—a mysterious 47-metric-ton granite mass steeped in legends and mysteries. Set in the heart of the gently rolling, perfectly preserved Morvan countryside (protected as a ZNIEFF for its rich flora and fauna), nestled in the heart of a small residential and agricultural hamlet, adjacent to the village of La Boulaye, a commune within the Morvan Natural Park renowned for being home to the illustrious Paldenshangpa Buddhist temple (founded in 1974 by a Tibetan lama), better known as the “Temple of the Thousand Buddhas,” a true gem and a unique example of Asian architecture in Burgundy (an absolutely magical place to discover, whether as a casual visitor or as part of a retreat or workshop). A soothing rural and natural setting combining agriculture and unspoiled nature amid lush wooded countryside dotted with rivers and ponds, farm fields, and vast stretches of wild forest. A comfortable holiday cottage. Spacious and bright. Large living area.
