Claire & Jean-Yves open the doors of an old 19th century stable, restored, located in a quiet hamlet bordering the Loire, 400m from the town of Artaix. For lovers of fishing and cycling (Accreditation Gîte Pêche and Accueil vélo), the Loire will satisfy all your desires! Go for a walk on the banks of the Loire and join the nautical stopover of the Artaix basin, along the "Canal de Roanne à Digoin" for a moment of relaxation with family or friends. Also make a detour to the place called La Cuvette to admire the remarkable concrete foundation that supports the Canal and reach the center of the village, stopping at the Saint-Julien church. Spacious comfortable cottage, accessible to people with disabilities, and furnished in a contemporary style. 7 bicycles are available in a room during your stay to explore the banks of the Loire. Within a privileged site classified as "Zone Natura 2000" (bird migration corridor: Ospreys, Kingfishers, Terns, etc.). Those curious about Nature can access the Observatory built by Jean-Yves the owner who will be your guide.
