100% atypical & cosy! Sublime panoramas & landscapes! Comfortable, charming gîte nestled in an authentic, fully-restored 19th-century farmhouse, flanked by an unusual "watchtower" (contemporary extension), set in the heart of a horse & pony farm - a vast 15-hectare natural estate & "micro-farm" housing numerous animals - 6.5 km from the charming medieval town of Mont-Saint-Vincent, one of Burgundy's most beautiful sites with a literally unique "belvedere". Pleasant environment of meadows & forests in the middle of rolling countryside, a stone's throw from a natural area protected as a ZNIEFF for the quality of its ecosystem, nestled on a south-facing hillside, in the heart of a small rural hamlet overlooking the sublime Charolais bocage & the bucolic Guye valley. Privileged location on the Romanesque church circuit, 2 km from the GR76 (connected to the GR7), close to numerous signposted "balades vertes" footpaths (a rich network to be discovered in the area), 12 km from a signposted cycle route connected to EuroVélo6 (running alongside the famous Canal du Centre), 14 km from a referenced 27 km "boucle vélo coup de cœur" (a similar 24 km loop is 16 km away) & 16 km from the Voie Verte ("Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du sud"). A choice location in the very heart of southern Burgundy, not far from the vineyards of the Côtes Chalonnaises & Mâconnais ("Route des Grands Vins" & "Route des Vins de Bourgogne" to explore), at the crossroads of the Tournugeois-Clunisois (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"), du Chalonnais, du Mâconnais & du Charolais-Brionnais (labellisé "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"), magnificent preserved territories, all rich in sumptuous landscapes, renowned gastronomies & a literally exceptional heritage. Ideal for exploring: 16 km from the medieval village of Saint-Gengoux-le-National ("Cités de Caractère de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté" label), 24 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, 31 km from Charolles, 33 km from Le Creusot (famous Combes amusement park / Creusot TGV station 27 km away), 40 km from Tournus, 43 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (labelled "Ville d'Art et d'Histoire"), 44 km from Paray-le-Monial, 44 km from the sublime landscaped jewel of the Roches de Solutré & Vergisson labelled "Grand Site de France" & 49 km from Mâcon (Mâcon Loché TGV station 44 km away). The perfect cocoon for a rejuvenating country break for the whole family or just the two of you! A real paradise for children!
