On the GR76 route, 3 km from access to the RCEA, immersed in a "postcard" setting! Exceptional authentic traditional building steeped in history - built in the 11th century - completely restored & revisited as a "chambre d'hôtes à la ferme", nestled in the heart of a peaceful picturesque rural hamlet perched on an exposed hillside, 6 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny (one of Burgundy's most beautiful pearls, awarded the prestigious "European Heritage" label / all amenities on site including supermarkets). In the heart of the unspoilt Countryside, overlooking the verdant Grosne valley, in a magnificent hilly setting combining bucolic meadows, vineyards & beautiful wild forests, in the heart of a vast natural area protected as a Natura 2000 & ZNIEFF zone (for its very rich ecosystems), bordering the northern Beaujolais massif (a vast, signposted mountain biking area to discover), the "Verts Vallons" of southern Burgundy & the "Petite Suisse du Mâconnais" (splendid territory of the Haut Clunisois) facing the southern Burgundy massif & the Mâconnais mountains, home to the sumptuous landscape jewel of the Roches de Solutré & Vergisson labelled "Grand Site de France" (21 km away). An ultra-privileged Location just a stone's throw from the first vineyards of the Mâconnais (including the famous "Val Lamartinien", named after the illustrious host of the site) and the "Route des Vins de Bourgogne", not far from the Beaujolais vineyards (the first vineyard in the world to be recognized as a "UNESCO World Geopark"), ideally situated on the Romanesque church circuit, the GR76 connected to the famous "Chemin de Cluny" GR (ViaCluny) and the mythical "Chemin des Moines" (linking the abbeys of Cîteaux and Cluny), several "balades vertes" trails (a vast network of similar footpaths and mountain bike trails in the area), 4 km from the Voie Verte of the "Grande boucle de Bourgogne du Sud" (& its remarkable "Tunnel du Bois Clair" accessible at 4.5 km, France's longest former railway tunnel open to a Voie Verte at 1.6 km) adjoining the "Cycloroute71" (Tour de la Saône-et-Loire by bike), 5.5 km from the renowned GTM mountain bike circuit certified "VTT FFC" (Grand Tour du Massif Sud Bourgogne connected to a vast network of identical signposted routes criss-crossing the massif "en étoiles") & 22 km from the Voie Bleue (running alongside the Saône). At the crossroads of the Mâconnais, Beaujolais, Clunisois-Tournugeois (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire") & Charolais-Brionnais (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"). Perfect location for easy access: 17 km from Taizé (& its famous religious community), 22 km from Mâcon (Mâcon Loché TGV train station 21 km away), 30 km from Saint-Gengoux-le-National classified as a "Cités de Caractère de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté", 30 km from the medieval village of Brancion, 33 km from Charolles, 35 km from "Hameau Dubœuf" (Europe's 1st vineyard & wine theme park), 37 km from Beaujeu (historic capital of Beaujolais) 40 km from Tournus (internationally renowned abbey site), 42 km from Vonnas (Georges Blanc's gourmet village) & 49 km from Paray-le-Monial. An exotic "pied-à-terre" with old-fashioned charm, perfect for hikers and Bikers alike, as well as a stopover on the way to your vacation destination!

Farmer-breeders (dairy calves & poultry / farm can be visited in their presence), Nathalie & Michel welcome you "à la ferme" to a charming traditional building of literally exceptional character, dating from the 11th century (for its oldest parts) and steeped in great history (originally a "noviciate" linked to the nearby Cluny abbey), next to an elegant listed Romanesque chapel built at the same time. Peace & tranquility nestled in a picturesque, perfectly preserved Burgundian rural hamlet, perched on a "balcony & panoramic belvedere" on an exposed hillside, in the heart of the unspoilt Cluny Countryside (protected as a Natura 2000 & ZNIEFF zone for its wealth of flora & fauna). Enchanting setting & site nestled in the heart of the local wooded bocage on the slopes of Mont Saint-Pierre, covered in a beautiful wild Forest, just a stone's throw from the bucolic vineyards of the Côtes Mâconnaises (& the renowned "Val Lamartinien" nearby). A picture-postcard backdrop and a sublime surrounding area for relaxing walks or mountain bike rides. Spacious rooms with a rustic country feel, where the "vintage" spirit of the place meets the rich traces of the past (preservation of beams & floors, original floor tiles).
