A renowned gastronomic stopover, nestling on the banks of the Saône in a bucolic, undulating Countryside (a succession of hedged meadows, rivers, beautiful wild forests & vineyard slopes), this charming town with its colorful facades lends it an Unusual Mediterranean charm, dotted with gentle pedestrian lanes, boasts all amenities, a priceless heritage, notably Romanesque (Saint-Philibert abbey from the 10th and 11th centuries, Hôtel Dieu, Romanesque churches from the 12th century, Gothic houses, buildings from the Middle Ages to the 18th century, private mansions, Roman remains...) & a unique level of sports & leisure facilities.     Excellent week-end!

    Belle découverte que ce gîte pour des retrouvailles en famille. Très propre, joliment décoré, Fanny , la propriétaire est très avenante et très arrangeante. Nous y avons passé un très bon week-end et découvert une petite ville charmante et animée.
