Authentic, fully-restored traditional 19th-century Morvan farmhouse - nestled in a pleasant 2500m² enclosed garden - nestled in a peaceful setting on the edge of wooded meadows in a mini rural hamlet, 6 km from the typical market town of Etang-sur-Arroux (numerous amenities, including a small supermarket) & 11 km from Autun, labeled a "City of Art & History", rich in 2000 years of human presence (literally exceptional heritage, all amenities on site & numerous sports & leisure facilities, including a golf course). Dominga & Christophe welcome you to an authentic 19th-century Morvan farmhouse, carefully converted into a comfortable holiday home, nestled in a peaceful rural hamlet with a small stream running through it, on the edge of wooded meadows (with the famous Charolais cows as close seasonal neighbors), a stone's throw from the center of the charming, typical & protected village of Laizy, nestled on the banks of the Arroux (a bucolic river full of fish), with its elegant 12th-century Romanesque church. Total tranquility, in a magnificent, unspoilt setting of verdant bocages & beautiful wild forests (in an area protected as a ZNIEFF for its wealth of flora & fauna), in the midst of gentle rolling Countryside combining agriculture & nature. Enchanting, soothing & relaxing setting. Spacious, comfortable Holiday cottage. Spacious living room complemented by a large veranda overlooking the meadows. Warm country charm with contemporary accents, enhanced by the totally exotic soul of the place (majestic stone & brick fireplace mantel, original beams & framework). Lots of charm & character. Cozy, cosy atmosphere. Pleasant 2500m² enclosed garden, with lawns and plants, a very large terrace with sun exposure & shade (depending) and a "natural pétanque court in the courtyard".     Séjour paisible à Laizy

    Christophe est un hôte d’une grande gentillesse et très serviable. Notre séjour a été très agréable et le gîte est très bien équipé et d’une propreté irréprochable !
    Nous avons bien apprécié les volumes des pièces, très spacieuses. Le cadre également est très bucolique, avec le petit ruisseau et les chemins juste à la sortie du gîte. Nous y reviendrons certainement.
