Stay in an exceptional residence steeped in history! Spacious, charming Holiday cottage - with en-suite bedrooms - nestled in an authentic, elegant little château dating from 1650, carefully restored to the highest standards, nestled in the peace and quiet of a beautiful, well-kept property (laid out in the spirit of a "micro-farm" with various animals), 6 km from the famous medieval town of Mont-Saint-Vincent, one of Burgundy's most beautiful sites. Peaceful little rural hamlet, nestled in rolling countryside in the heart of the sublime Charolais bocage, a succession of gentle meadows & beautiful wild forests, bordering a natural area protected as a ZNIEFF for the quality of its ecosystem (just a stone's throw away) and the verdant Guye valley (& its fish-filled river). Superbly landscaped, soothing & rejuvenating setting, on the route of the Romanesque church circuit, 3 km from the GR7 and very close to numerous signposted "balades vertes" hiking trails, 12 km from a listed cycle route (directly connected to the voie verte), not far from the Côtes Chalonnaises & Mâconnais vineyards (and various wine routes). An ultra-privileged, central location in the very heart of southern Burgundy, at the crossroads of Tournugeois-Clunisois (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"), Chalonnais, Mâconnais & Charolais-Brionnais (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"), magnificent unspoilt territories, rich in sumptuous landscapes, renowned gastronomy & a literally exceptional heritage. Perfect for exploring: 19 km from the medieval village of Saint-Gengoux-le-National (classified as a "Cités de Caractère de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté"), 26 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, 29 km from Charolles, 31 km from Le Creusot (renowned Combes amusement park / Creusot TGV station 32 km away), 42 km from Tournus, 42 km from Paray-le-Monial, 45 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (labelled "City of Art and History"), 46 km from La Clayette, 46 km from the sublime landscaped gem of Roche de Solutré labelled "Grand Site de France" & 52 km from Mâcon (Mâcon Loché TGV station 47 km away). A holiday of choice for 100% rejuvenating greening! A mini paradise for Kids, full of surprises and discoveries!
