Stay "in the heart of the meadows" on a site steeped in history, on the edge of a peaceful & picturesque wine-producing village, just a stone's throw from the vineyards and the Voie Verte! Authentic, character-filled outbuilding of an early 19th-century traditional tile factory, completely refurbished as a cosy holiday home, nestled on the edge of fields & meadows - on a pleasant enclosed property of 1600m² - in a mini residential rural hamlet located 8 km (equidistance) from the delightful medieval villages of Saint-Gengoux-le-National ("site clunisien" majeur labellisé "Cités de Caractère de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté") and Buxy (numerous local amenities including supermarkets). Total tranquility & soothing, unspoilt landscaped setting, nestled in gentle rolling Countryside combining viticulture, agriculture & nature (protected by ZNIEFF & various Natura 2000 zones for the quality of its rich ecosystems) between vineyard slopes, beautiful wild forests and wooded bocage meadows dotted with ponds & river, bordering the vast Forest domaniale de la Ferté (literally the territory's "green lung") and the bucolic Grosne valley, not far from the wooded foothills of the nearby South Burgundy massif. An ultra-privileged Location at the crossroads of the Haut Mâconnais & Côtes Chalonnaises vineyards, on the "Route des Grands Vins" (extended to the south by the "Route des Vins de Bourgogne"), the Romanesque church circuit, several hiking trails marked out as "balades vertes" (a vast network of hiking trails of the same type available in the area, on foot or by Bike / Mountain bike) & the Voie Verte of the "Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du sud" linked to the "Cycloroute71" (Tour de la Saône-et-Loire by bike), 3 km from the GR76 linked to the mythical "Chemin des Moines" (formerly linking the abbeys of Cluny & Cîteaux) as well as to the "ViaCluny", 4.5 km of a signposted cycle route serving the Voie Verte du Canal du Centre (a navigable route that can also be explored by boat or on foot), linked to the EuroVélo6 cycle route and the "Tour de Bourgogne à Vélo", 11 km of the renowned GTM mountain bike route with "VTT FFC" accreditation (Grand Tour du Massif Sud-Bourgogne linked to a vast network of identical trails criss-crossing the massif) & 23 km of the Voie Bleue (running along the banks of the Saône). Right in the heart of southern Burgundy, on the borders of southern Chalonnais, at the crossroads of Tournugeois-Clunisois (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"), Mâconnais & Charolais-Brionnais labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire", not far from Bresse Bourguignonne and Autunois-Morvan. 17 km from the shopping town of Sennecey-le-Grand, 17 km from Givry, 20 km from Taizé (& its famous religious community), 21 km from the medieval village of Brancion, 22 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (labeled "City of Art and History"), 27 km from Tournus, 27 km from Le Creusot TGV station, 29 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, 48 km from Louhans, 48 km from Beaune, 50 km from the sumptuous landscaped jewel of the Roches de Solutré & Vergisson (classified as a "Grand Site de France"), 50 km from Charolles & 51 km from Mâcon (Mâcon TGV station 50 km away). An ideal "cocoon" of charm and serenity for an ultra-relaxing "green getaway" for lovers and families alike!

"Marie-Laure is a renowned ceramist who has exhibited all over the world (her studio & showroom can be visited on request). She opens the doors of an authentic old outbuilding, steeped in history & fully restored, once linked to the artisan tile factory that occupied the premises in the early 19th century (of which the imposing brick kiln remains). Peace & tranquility in gentle rolling countryside (protected by ZNIEFF & various Natura 2000 zones for its wealth of flora & fauna), in a mini rural residential hamlet nestled "au coeur de prés" on the edge of a peaceful, picturesque, perfectly preserved wine-producing village (with a beautiful listed 12th-century Romanesque church & a rare former quarry of 3rd-century Gallo-Roman sculptures). Ultra-relaxing setting & site, nestled on the edge of fields & bucolic wooded bocage meadows (home, in season, to the famous local Charolais cows), a stone's throw from the first vineyards (600m away) as well as the Voie Verte, in a magnificent landscaped setting of unspoilt nature & greenery. Comfortable Holiday cottage. Warm country charm enhanced by a few vintage touches (including a magnificent "fifties" tiled floor in the kitchen) & the totally exotic soul of an old rural home. Lots of charm. Cosy atmosphere. Appreciable "intimate" reserved garden space nestled in the heart of a pleasant enclosed property planted with lawns and trees and adorned with a fruit orchard (cherry, mirabelle, plum.../ Picking possible). Soothing unobstructed view of the surrounding Countryside.
Composition : Holiday cottage adjoining the owner's house & his ceramics workshop (total independence). Wifi (fiber). Gas heating. Ground floor Holiday cottage: living room/kitchen, lounge (1 bed 90x190cm), 1 bedroom (2 beds 160x200cm), shower room/WC. Garden (reserved space) + private parking. Shared enclosed garden (1600m²). Bike room. Shops & supermarket 8 km.
