Countryside at the gateway to the City in the heart of the Haut-Mâconnais vineyards"! Elegant, authentic, fully-restored 18th-century residence nestled in a peaceful, picturesque, typical Burgundian wine-producing village, steeped in history & perfectly preserved, 5.5 km from the charming gastronomic & shopping town of Tournus, with its world-renowned abbey site (all amenities on site, including supermarkets and numerous sports & leisure facilities). Magnificent surrounding countryside & nature, a gentle, undulating wine-growing mountain combining agriculture & nature, largely protected as a "Zones Natura 2000" & ZNIEFF for its rich ecosystems, overlooking the Val de Saône in the foothills of the Massif Sud Bourgogne (vast wilderness to explore on foot or mountain bike). Ultra-privileged Location on the routes of the Romanesque church circuit, 3 marked "balades vertes" hiking trails (a vast network of similar hiking trails winding between vineyards & open country, to be discovered throughout the region, in addition to other marked trails), a 42 km "boucle Vélo coup de cœur" & the renowned GTM mountain bike trail (Grand Tour du Massif Sud Bourgogne) linked to a vast network of marked mountain bike trails criss-crossing the massif, labelled "VTT FFC"), adjoining the "Route de Vins de Bourgogne", which is extended by the "Route des Grands Vins", 1 km from the GR76 linked to the famous "Chemin de Cluny" GR (ViaCluny) & connected to the mythical "Chemin des Moines" (linking the abbeys of Cîteaux and Cluny) & 6 km from the Voie Bleue (along the banks of the Saône) linked to the Voie Verte of the "Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du Sud" and the "Cycloroute71" (Tour de la Saône-et-Loire by bike). Prime location in the heart of the Mâconnais & its famous vineyards (AOC in Chardonnay), at the crossroads of the Ain, Tournugeois-Clunisois (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"), Chalonnais & Bresse Bourguignonne, not far from the vineyards of Côtes Chalonnaises, Beaujolais as well as Cotes de Beaune & Hautes Cotes de Beaune. Ideal for easy commuting (A6 6 km away): 10 km from Lugny ("the little capital of the Haut-Mâconnais", first Burgundy wine-producing winery), 11 km from the medieval town of Brancion, 12 km from the rare Truchère Nature Reserve (remarkable protected ecosystem), 12 km from Cuisery (listed among the very exclusive 8 French "Villages du Livre"), 17 km from Pont de Vaux (river Marina linked to the Saône), 26 km from the medieval village of Saint-Gengoux-le-National (classified as a "Cités de Caractère de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté"), 29 km from Mâcon (Mâcon Loché train station 35 km away), 31 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, 32 km from Louhans, 33 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (classified as a "City of Art and History") & 38 km from the sumptuous landscape gem of Roche de Solutré (classified as a "Grand Site de France"). An ideal & inspiring cocoon, steeped in the charm of yesteryear, for an ultra-relaxing "green escape" with the whole family!

Description 2026, subject to modifications for 2027: Please refer to the description sheet validated at the time of booking.
With her passion for history & heritage, Josette opens the doors of an elegant, authentic 18th-century mansion, completely revisited as a charming holiday home, next to the superb 1583 manor house it occupies (also perfectly restored), quietly situated on the edge of a lane, a stone's throw from the first vineyards, in the heart of a picturesque & charming typical Burgundy village, steeped in history & perfectly preserved (beautiful neo-Romanesque church from the 19th century, washhouses & numerous carefully restored "cadoles"). Total tranquility in the unspoilt Countryside of the Haut-Mâconnais, at once urban & rural, nestled in a valley of vineyards & meadows overlooked by the wooded ridges of the vast surrounding wild forests, in an area protected as a ZNIEFF for its wealth of flora & fauna. Spacious, comfortable Holiday cottage. Large rooms and spacious accommodation. Warm country charm enhanced by the exotic, slightly "retro" feel of an old, wealthy home and its meticulous heritage restoration (exceptional cement tile floors, molded doors, beams (one of which is "dated"), marble mantels, stone sink, floor tiles... all original). Enormous charm & character. Intimate walled garden (500m² with its courtyard) nestled behind historic stone walls, with garden furniture pleasantly shaded under a plane tree "over a hundred years old". Large traditional "galerie mâconnaise" (sheltered balcony).
Composition: Detached house adjoining the owner's house (total independence / presence of her carport on the courtyard side). Wifi (fiber). Electric heating. Holiday cottage on 1st floor: kitchen-living room, TV lounge, 2 bedrooms (bed 2 p. 140x190cm / 3 beds 1 p. 90x190cm), shower room, separate toilet. Sheltered balcony + enclosed grounds (500m² / courtyard & garden) + private parking. All amenities including supermarket 5.5 km. Orange mobile network only

Marningote Pas terrible
Le gîte est prévu avec internet or le wifi est inaccessible sauf à quelques rares moments sur la terrasse . La description du gîte est donc mensongère. C’est un gîte sans internet , le prix est trop élevé sans cette prestation .
