Lovers and perfect ambassadors for their region, Jean-Luc and Chantal welcome you to their lovingly restored former oil mill, located on the banks of the River Gande, just a stone's throw from a magnificent medieval bridge. Nestled in the hollow of a valley, this Holiday cottage offers a magnificent, restful, unobstructed view of the rolling, wooded landscape typical of the Clunisois and Charolais regions. The village boasts a number of signposted footpaths, as well as a remarkable classified "sensitive natural area" in the Bois de la Roche, where flora and fauna abound. A mini "coulée verte" along the Gande river features an arboretum with over a hundred species, a conservatory orchard, a sports trail and a playground for Kids. The tombs of Lucie and Raymond Aubrac also tell a more contemporary story, revolving around the Resistance and the maquisards hidden in this magnificent wooded and bucolic territory. Holiday cottage with good comfort, light, perfect exposure and contemporary country style. Pleasant 400m2 walled garden with flowers and a large, shady terrace, a small part of which is at the back of the house! Ideal for enjoying the freshness of the river and for fishing enthusiasts.
