Perfectly situated between Doubs & Saône at the crossroads of the Côte d'Or & Jura departments! Elegant, charming guest house set in an early 19th century bourgeois character property, steeped in history & fully restored, set on a vast 5000m² property (pleasant "natural garden" laid out in the spirit of a "micro farm" with a few animals) in the heart of a small Bresse village nestled on the banks of the Doubs (a paradise for fishermen and nature lovers alike, protected as a "Zone Natura 2000" for the quality of its rich ecosystems), 10 km from the charming, typical market town of Pierre-de-Bresse, which has been awarded the "Cité de Caractère de Bourgogne Franche Comté" label (renowned ecomuseum & numerous amenities, including a high level of sports & leisure facilities). In the heart of unspoilt agricultural Countryside, with a mix of farming & nature, numerous signposted footpaths (including a rich network of "balades vertes" criss-crossing the territory, for walking or mountain biking) & protected sites in "Zone Natura 2000" or "ZNIEFF" (including Le grand Étang de Pontoux located 3.5 km, an exceptional sensitive natural area unique in Burgundy, nesting & ornithological reserve with over 130 species), in the green lower Doubs valley, a vast bocage plain of fields & meadows dotted with bucolic ponds & vast state forests nestling at the foot of the nearby Mountain foothills of the Jura massif. 7 km from the Voie Bleue (blue waterway), which links up with the EuroVélo6 cycle route and the "Cycloroute71" (cycling tour of Saône-et-Loire, linking up with the Voie Bressane greenway to the south), 13 km from the Verdun-sur-le-Doubs river marina (coiled up at the confluence of the Saône and Doubs rivers), 17 km from the Voie Verte "la Voie du Tacot" (linking up with Beaune), 24 km from the Voie Verte de la Bresse Jurasienne and around 40 km (equidistance) from the vineyards of the Jura, Côtes Chalonnaises and the world-famous Côtes de Beaune & Hautes Côtes de Beaune (various "Routes des Vins" to discover, including the prestigious "Route des Grands Crus" passing through the mythical wine villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Pommard, Meursault...). Privileged location on the borders of Bresse Bourguignonne - birthplace of the famous AOC Bresse poultry - at the crossroads of the Chalonnais, Tournugeois-Clunisois (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire") & Pays Beaunois. Perfect location for 3 départements: 12 km from Seurre, 32 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (labeled "City of Art and History"), 34 km from Beaune, 34 km from Louhans, capital of Bresse (& its famous "Rue aux 157 arcades", iconic medieval shopping street), 37 km from Dole (labeled "City of Art and History"), 46 km from Lons-le-Saunier, 56 km from Tournus & 53 km from Dijon. A sweet address that exudes the "art of living in the Countryside", ideal "pied à terre" for a break on the road or as part of an ultra-cozy break, for lovers or the whole family!

Veerle Aanrader!
